I had been searching for an automatic Hyundai Veloster at various other Hyundai dealerships. Hyundai of White Plains was the only dealership that had an automatic in the color that I was seeking. It took a mere 48 hours (because it was on a weekend and the DMV was closed) from the initial phone call until I drove away in my brand new Veloster. From the beginning to the end of the transaction, I was assisted by Jim Pelka, sales associate. As soon as the sale was made, Jim removed my car from the parking lot in order to ensure that no one else would touch it, sit in it, etc. I found Jim to be a down-to-earth, personable, and knowledgeable person. Jim held my hand throughout the process, showed me all of the new features in my car, and even guided me out of the crowded parking lot as I drove away. I also had the pleasure of meeting the sales manager and other staff who were equally helpful. It was truly an easy and stress-less experience to deal with Hyundai of White Plains. We were greeted warmly, were given a fair trade-in value, saw exactly the car we discussed (and then we decided on a different color), filled out the paperwork and finished the deal in less than 2 hours. No bait-and-switch (first time in my 60+ years), no hassle, no pressure, just customer-friendly from start to finish. When we came to pick up the car, Peter went over the operation of the vehicle in user-friendly language. In fact, it is fair to state that at each juncture, this dealership presented as professional and knowledgeable, and most importantly, easy to work with. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
