Went to this dealer to buy a new car. Was greeted by a sales representative named Carly Kim. Nice enough. Was interested in either a Elantra or a Sonata. Was shown a few. I had a meeting to go to and told sales representative named Carly Kim. Nice enough. Was interested in either a Elantra or a Sonata. Was shown a few. I had a meeting to go to and told her I will be back. Later in the day a Sales manager, named Michael Rockwell sent me an email with a great price on a Hyundai Sonata 2012 Hybrid with zero % financing. I came in the next morning saw Michael Rockwell and Had the email he sent me and I showed him the email and he agreed it was a great deal and I would be foolish not to get it. My sales Lady Carly Kim got the key and we took a test drive. I said yes lets to the deal. I was waiting a long time when Carly Kim and Michael Rockwell came in. He told me they made a mistake and the cost would be higher. He wanted to sell me different cars that he said was at cost. Told him I wanted the Sonata Hybrid. He said it will cost more. I said as still intrested in the 2012 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, but had to ask my wife about a higher price. He said ok. I was going home when he sends a new email saying the 0& financing ended early, eventhough Hyndai still offered zero % financing. To cut to the chase a very bad taste with this dealer. More

This was my very first experience with a dealership; as a woman its quite daunting walking into a car dealership alone, but I was greeted promptly and felt at ease immediately by sales manager Tony Finelli. woman its quite daunting walking into a car dealership alone, but I was greeted promptly and felt at ease immediately by sales manager Tony Finelli. He understood my concerns and was so very patient with me while I phoned my boyfriend ( numerous times) to give him specifics about the elantra I was interested in purchasing. Bottom line there was no pressure, there was no selling me something that was out of my budget, or exceeded my needs. The dealership was extremely busy yet, they attended to me as if I were the only one there. The level of costumer service here was impressive!! Everyone was so nice!! Sales consultant, Jim Pelka was amazing...he explained thoroughly all the operations of the car ( stereo, wipers lights alarm etc..) and was gracious enough to sit in the back during my test drive. The Finance manager Rick, was friendly and instantly made me feel comfortable when explaining to me the finance logistics of my car payments. Purchasing a car is huge deal for someone like me even though I purchased a used elantra,here I felt as if my business of a preowned car purchase was just as important as those buying brand new cars. In closing I will say I look forward to a relationship with this dealer, and will recommend it to anyone that will listen...this is the place to purchase your Hyundai! Thank you all for your help! I saw a used car on their website that I was very interested in so I called to get the asking price since it wasn't listed online. I spoke to Rosanna who gave me a price and asked if I would like to interested in so I called to get the asking price since it wasn't listed online. I told her that I would be there in an hour since the dealership is an hour's drive from my house and she said she would have the car waiting for me when I got there. I got there in an hour, met with Rosanna who informed me the car wasn't ready and that Jim would be my salesman. Jim said the car was on one of their other lots and then proceeded to drive me to another location up the street but when we got there, he couldn't find the car. He talked to the used car sales manager (Lou?)who told him to take me to another lot. The car wasn't there either. After 45 minutes of driving around, Jim told me they couldn't find the car or the keys but that he would call me the next day once they located the car. He never called. I called the sales manager 2 days later and he said they were still looking for it and that he would call me by the end of the day. Surprise, he never called either. Interesting to note, Jim told me that sometimes salespeople "hide" cars so that other salespeople can't sell it to someone else. So I wasted 3 hours to look at a car that the dealer couldn't find. More
I would just like to add all the people I worked with were great. Jim Pelka was not only kind and courteous but spent a lot of time with me explaining the functions of the car and was with me until he k were great. She made the numbers work financially, and she really understood who I am and what she could do to make my experience perfect. The whole staff at Hyundai of White Plains really goes beyond in meeting the needs of their customers. You get the sense that it is more than sales; that each person there really cares about the customer who comes to them. I cannot say enough about Inga; I do feel like I have made a friend! And Rick is an awesome finance person!! I love the 2013 Accent! It hugs the road like a sportscar and is designed beautifully. Kudos to Hyundai for their technology. More
