I had originally contacted Joe Cappello a year ago through an ad in Auto Trader. I was looking to get into a Buick Regal, but at the time I just couldn't qualify for a lease. Long story short I ended through an ad in Auto Trader. I was looking to get into a Buick Regal, but at the time I just couldn't qualify for a lease. Long story short I ended up with a Mazda6 that while practical, not really what I wanted. But Joe was so nice and understanding that I filed that away thinking I would call on him again when finances got better. So a year later I accidentally went too far on a website checking prices and it sent my name out to several dealers, Dick Norris being one of them and Joe responded. I told the other dealers it was a mistake but because of Joe's personality I called him , explained the situation and he suggested I come in if I wanted to see what can be done. So I did and that was the start of the best experience I've ever had in buying a car. I'm 60 so I've had a few. Joe was the consumate gentleman, listened to my concerns and worked to get the price I needed. We still weren't there, but in talking with Dean Lillquist, they were able to get to the number I needed to get into the Regal. There was asolutely no strong arm tactics, no badgering or intimadation as there usually is. As one review said, I expected Dean to be the bad cop while Joe was the good cop, but that was not the case at all. Everyone at Dick Norris was genuinely concerned that I was happy with the deal. In the end I leased at a payment $63 lower than what I was paying for the Mazda, shorter term(which I wanted) and got a REAL car. The Regal drives like a dream and handles the road and rides like a Cadillac. More

This was the best car buying experience of my life! I went to the dealership expecting the same typical treatment that I have received from previous car dealers. Boy, was I wrong. He was knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions with patience and understanding. A genuinely "nice guy" without the soft shoe sales approach. I figured the "finance guy" would make up for Joe's patient and caring style by being the jerk I've come to know so well in the past. I was floored by Dean Lillquist's attentiveness and genuine efforts to accommodate my financing needs. In the end, I got the vehicle I wanted (2013 GMC Terrain SLT-1)for the price I wanted with no money down, just my 2006 trade-in. Well we have bought several vehicles from Dick Norris and always have had a good experience. But this time it was unbelievable everyone one was amazing they all treated us like we were Family.....greatest ex always have had a good experience. She had a 2000 Jimmy that she leased first and then bought from Dick Norris in 99.....that was the best vehicle she ever had till now.....Dean went to bat for us like I was his son got us a great deal and again treated like we were family. Our first experience with Dick Norris GMC Buick in Palm Harbor was an internet inquiry about one of the vehicles we were interested in. Their internet site asked us if we wanted to "Make An Offer" for the Harbor was an internet inquiry about one of the vehicles we were interested in. Their internet site asked us if we wanted to "Make An Offer" for the vehicle we were previewing online. I thought what the heck and made what I thought was a fair offer. I did not expect them to accept it as it has been our experience with other dealerships that they always say no to what you propose. I got a phone call and an email from Joe Cappello letting me know that they had accepted my offer and included details with an out the door cost. Wow, I did not expect that! Then I thought to myself well that will probably change when I get to the dealership. Nope, I was wrong again. What a pleasant experience. We got a higher amount for our trade than anyone else offered. We got the deal that we wanted and we got the monthly payment that we wanted and on top of that - finance quoted us an acceptable interest rate and then when we got to our appointment to sign the paperwork we found out that he was able to get the interest rate even lower than he quoted us. Wow again! They did not have to do that - we were happy with the first rate quoted. Needless to say that due to all of the things above (especially fighting for a lower interest rate for us and giving us more for our trade) we will be customers for life!
