A REAL BUMMER THE SALESMAN BRADY WATKINS WAS THE ONLY PERSON TO SHOW ME RESPECT AND INTERESTED IN MY PURCHASE OF TWO VEHICLES WITHIN A ONE MONTH PERIOD. MOST OF M THE SALESMAN BRADY WATKINS WAS THE ONLY PERSON TO SHOW ME RESPECT AND INTERESTED IN MY PURCHASE OF TWO VEHICLES WITHIN A ONE MONTH PERIOD. MOST OF MY TIME WAS WAITING, WAITING, WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO PROCESS THE FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS. BOTH OF THESE PURCHASES WERE CASH PAID IN FULL TRANSACTIONS. ON THE BUICK VEHICLE, THE PAPERWORK I WAS EXPECTED TO SIGN HAD THREE DATES WHICH WERE INCORRECT. I HAD TO WAIT TO HAVE THEM CORRECTED. I HAD TO ASK AT LEAST FIVE TIMES TO OBTAIN THE CARFAX FOR THE KIA. BEING CONSTANTLY IGNORED BY YOUR SALES DEPARTMENT REALLY INSULTED ME. More

I will not waste any time searching for our next vehicle considering the fact that by luck I found such an Awesome dealership as Smith Buick and its staff like Todd and Daniel that made the car buying experience very pleasant instead of frustrating like almost all other dealerships do and I intend to refer everyone that I know to definitely take the drive to Smith Buick for their next vehicle purchase and not to waste their valuable time with other dealerships. To everyone at Smith Buick, Awesome job and keep up the great work because all of you really know what true customer service is and that is what makes a great business stand out above all the rest. Before I forget, in closing, JR in the service department was also very professional and helpful in taking my call when the sales staff were all in a morning sales meeting and relaying my information to the sales staff to contact me back. Tire rebate debacle Service dept. put the wrong tire numbers on the rebate form. Rebate company sent me half of the rebate amount, as a courtesy. After several service department runarounds at Lane about the error--and 3 months later--I called Amy, the manager of Lane. She apologized for the problem and is sending me a check for the other $50.00 of the rebate. So, in conclusion, it was a negative experience with a positive conclusion. More
Oil change was $35.00 which was for 5 quarts of oil (Dexos), then they came back to me and said my 2014 GMC sierra uses 8.5 quarts and the bill would be $120.00. I would have been happy to pay a reason (Dexos), then they came back to me and said my 2014 GMC sierra uses 8.5 quarts and the bill would be $120.00. I would have been happy to pay a reasonable cost for the extra 4 quarts. How do you add 4 quarts of oil and triple the bill. Very dishonest way of doing business. More
My son traded his truck for a pre-owned Pontiac at Lane Buick. Connie claimed the car was owned by ONE prior owner and that Lane Buick had sold it new to that owner. My son drove the car for a week and the Buick. Connie claimed the car was owned by ONE prior owner and that Lane Buick had sold it new to that owner. My son drove the car for a week and then left for college and put the car in storage in the garage. One month later I opened the car to find it stinking and full of mold. White mold was growing on every surface of the cars interior! I called Connie and she stated AGAIN that the car was sold new by them to a local man who treated it like a "baby". So we started digging and found that the car was in fact sold new to a FLEET (rental car) in Michigan and was purchased by Lane at an auction. I called the general manager, who was not available and had the misfortune of speaking with the assisant general manager, who was immediatley rude and defensive. He said I had an insurance problem and that he would do nothing about the car he sold my son that had obviously been flooded. Yes, there will be a lawsuit! More
I took my diesel truck in for an unscheduled oil change. Since I didn't have an appointment, I expected to have to wait. Shawn told me that he would still be able to get my truck even though they were busy Since I didn't have an appointment, I expected to have to wait. Turns out, since my truck is diesel they are particular about who works on it and I had to wait longer than they thought I should have. I didn't complain. But, they didn't charge me for the visit because I waited so long. Wow, it was a long wait. But, a diesel oil changes cost over 70 dollars and their customer service department valued my time such that they ate the cost. Thank you Lane Buick GMC. I'll be backl. More
