Inspection lies The person who conducted the inspection on my car, during an oil change, told me I need a laundry list of service I did not need. I left the dealersh The person who conducted the inspection on my car, during an oil change, told me I need a laundry list of service I did not need. I left the dealership and took my vehicle immediately to a trusted mechanic to schedule my brake job (which was not listed in the need to do list) and he said it was a scam. All of my fluids, except the oil, the dealer said I needed to "flush" (because they were dirty) ... including the brake fluid, transmission fluid, coolant was supposedly low and dirty. The mechanic said my coolant was the cleanest he had seen on a vehicle not brand new and he had never heard of flushing the brake fluid. I was also told I needed to change the air filter...we pulled it out and it looked brand new. The listed services, again not including the needed rear brakes) totaled nearly $1,000. I used to trust Dick Norris in Clearwater, but they are now on the list that includes Dimmitt and Crown. Won't be back. More

Quick, friendly service I made an appointment at Dick Norris for service on my Buick Encore. The appointment was set for 8:15 on Friday. I arrived and was promptly greeted.
