Unprofessional location, Unprofessional customer service!!! I've been interested in purchasing a Yukon XL SLT for sometime now, I decided to stop by this location (Clearwater, fl) two weeks ago a Saturday (12/ I've been interested in purchasing a Yukon XL SLT for sometime now, I decided to stop by this location (Clearwater, fl) two weeks ago a Saturday (12/19) to take a look around. My first contact was with Chris Platow ,GMC/Buick sales and leasing Professional. At first, I was interested in a 2014 Black, however, weren't any obtainable. Chris told me that he does have a 2014 BLACK Yukon XL SLT, fully stocked, on star, satellite radio, navigation, rear camera etc. He mentioned it was a road vehicle and had 18,000 miles, came with a 2 year full service warranty. He told me this is the best deal GMC will have to offer. He also mentioned he would work out my current lease for me to finance a GMC. He told me that he would have the vehicle to the clearwater location on Monday (12/22) I stayed really excited in receiving an early Christmas gift. Monday morning, @ 10am (est) I receive a phone call from Chris to tell me the vehicle would be there at 2pm (est), I then received another phone call at 1:15pm (est) and Chris told me the truck was there. I left work early, arrived at the dealership and Chris didn't acknowledge me. I then walked outside to take a phone call, Chris came out the front door and got into a Yukon, drove it along the side of me and said “it’s the wrong color” nothing more nothing less. I said not only is it the wrong color but, its appearances is factory inside, null navigation, the rear camera was in the rear view mirror and it had 24,000 miles. I told him that I was disappointed. He knew once the vehicle was delivered that it wasn't black and continued to have me leave work early, thinking I was going to settle. He then (never gets out of the vehicle) says, I will get a black one and have it here for you tomorrow (Tuesday, 12/23) he said he will call me as soon as it gets in. Noon on Tuesday came, I decided to give Chris a call, no answer and no return call. I left two VM’s. Even after this mind baffling experience I was actually still very interested in a Yukon, I decided to reach out to Chris one last time, I called him yesterday, Monday 12/29 at 12:45pm, I explained he never reached back out to me and he did not respond, he said I have a 2014 Black Yukon ready for you. He said let me check on the details and I will give you a call back – I told him that if the 2014 wasn't available, that I am definitely interested in a 2015. He said, I will get back to you shortly….I am still waiting on a phone call back…Seem’s I cannot give money away. I have never been so dissatisfied, offended with a dealership, customer service and overall experience. I am really really speechless. GMC, the cost of each vehicle is more then many make in a year, and you have sales rep’s damaging/wrecking your name and brand. I am sure I am not the first check tossed away. This is hands down the best dealership I have ever been to! I had to trade in my car expectantly due to a family situation. I didn't know if it would be possible as I had one year left on my lease. From the moment I arrived the vibe of this dealership was unlike no other. My salesman Mark Laird was amazing. He was not pushy and very informative. He worked with me and my situation along with the manager and loan specialist and they did an amazing job! I was prepared to haggle and fight as I have always previously done but none of that was necessary! I will recommend Mark and this dealership to everyone. I felt as though they were not rushing us, there was no high pressure sales technique yet the whole process was very fast and efficient. The entire team we worked with were very knowledgable and professional. I instantly felt a rep-ore with "Doc". How often can you say you hugged your car salesman after the deal is done? They took time to educate me on all that services i.e.:Onstar, XM ect. that my new car had, personally introduced me to the service department and did a follow up call to make sure I was comfortable with my new GMC Terrain. I would recommend Dick Norris Buick*GMC to everyone. More

He was a pleasure to work with and was very attentive through the buying process. I had recently been in an accident which totaled my car and left me in a rental. He brought the new car to my work so I could test drive it and explained everything clearly. For my convenience, he handled my entire purchase via e-mail. All I had to do was go in and sign paperwork. After being treated poorly by multiple dealerships and my insurance company, Eric restored my faith in customer service. THANK YOU! Beware of service dept! Expertise is questionable! I brought my 2007 G6 convertible in to repair a broken cable. The dealership did NOT have the expertise to handle this repair. When I took the car i I brought my 2007 G6 convertible in to repair a broken cable. The dealership did NOT have the expertise to handle this repair. When I took the car in, the convertible top went up/down perfectly, it simply could not go into the trunk. The broken cable was to allow the convertible top stowage cover (aka boot cover) to hide the top when stored in the trunk, which is a COSMETIC cover. In their effort to fix the issue with this COSMETIC boot cover, they basically caused the roof to no longer align with the closure prongs, thereby bending the prongs and making the top completely unusable.....I had to take the car to Crown GMC to fix what Dick Norris broke, just to get the top back in the same condition it was before.... This cost me over $600 to fix! When Crown GMC realized that the part to fix the COSMETIC boot cover was no longer manufactured by GMC, they simply removed it so that I could continue to put my convertible top up/down. Dick Norris REFUSED to pay for the $600+ damages because unlike Crown GMC, they thought it was better to attempt a repair that they were not qualified to perform and leave the customer's car in worse condition, in an effort to cover up their incompetent. BEWARE!! I will be filing a BBB report and contact Consumer Protection to hopefully stop Dick Norris from causing harm to future customers that happen to trust their service department! More

Chris made such a great first impression on us, and had great things to say about Dick Norris that we decided we would do whatever we needed to be able to purchase the vehicle from Dick Norris and work with Chris Platow. We took a few weeks to make our decision and Chris was patient with us and continued to accommodate our requests throughout the process. We look forward to our future experiences with Dick Norris and plan to purchase our next vehicle there! More
