The mysterious "Clicking" Sound When I brought my Chevy Impala into the Dick Norris dealership with a clicking sound that sounded like someone or something was trapped in the glove d When I brought my Chevy Impala into the Dick Norris dealership with a clicking sound that sounded like someone or something was trapped in the glove department, I was met by a service rep. I told him to hang around since the noise would start when I turned the engine off. He called Mike over so he could listen. Well, as you might expect, the noise did NOT start and I felt like a fool. Mike assured me that he had a good idea what I was talking about and it could be fixed. He told me that it was probably a broken gear in a recirculating door motor. He mentioned that there were four such gears in the car and two were easily reached and fixed but the other two were difficult and expensive to repair. After investigation I was told that it was indeed a broken gear and luckily one of the less expensive repair jobs. With my approval the repair was done and I left the dealership with no strange sound and I have not heard it since. Everyone seemed very interested in my problem and I felt that it was handled very well. I will return to Dick Norris for all my repair needs, routine or unusual. More

James is great, always picks up first ring, and usually has my service completed before I'm ready to come back. Great job, and I'll look to buy my next vehicle here as well. More

My appointment was originally scheduled for a week or two before, but I had to reschedule it do to an unexpected conflict. The day before I took the Enclave in, I received a very nice reminder email and then I also got a phone call from James asking if I still had time to bring the SUV in because he knew my schedule could change in an instant. I assured him I would be there the next day. When I took it in I immediately asked him how long this factory-scheduled service would take and James told me about one hour and 15 minutes. Well they were done in 45 minutes which was great because while I waited I received a phone call from a client and that extra half hour truly came in handy. Thanks James! More
