Oil change I previously went to Flood Ford and was told I had no app which I had made last Thursday for 9:00am. They told me I had a 10:00 am app. Could not take me until after 10:00am. I told them what kind of customer service is this? Crap I left and called Tasca, and drove directly to Tasca. With no appointment, I drove in for an oil change and was out in less than 2 hr. Thank you, great job. More

Taking a bit too long I visited the Tasca garage in Cranston last week because my brakes were making a grinding noise. The lady at the desk was very nice and had a tech look at the car even though it was later in the evening. I was told I needed brake drums and tires. I asked to schedule an appointment but was told I couldn't until the parts were ordered. I had to wait over a week for the parts, but then when I arrived it turned out that not all of the parts had arrived. They gave me a rental car at no charge which was good of them, but now I don't expect to get my car back for another 4-5 days!! After getting a rental car, I went back in so that I could retrieve my house keys and some personal things from my car. The tech said he would send someone up to walk me back. After standing there for 10 minutes I went over to the cashier and asked what the problem was and she just rolled her eyes. Finally some clueless guy came up looking quite flummoxed. Mr. Personality then escorted me to my car and stood over my shoulder as if I was going to steal my own car. I do not understand why it takes so long to get parts! I have had work done in the past and it has NEVER taken more than a day to get parts (they usually arrive on the same day). I understand that this may be an issue with a supplier and not necessarily Tasca. I am finding that this is becoming the norm when I do business with Tasca. Over a year ago I dropped my car off for a service in the morning (Seekonk location), was told it would be ready by noon. At 1pm I called and they had not taken it into the garage yet. They blamed it on someone not getting a message! After this experience I will not be doing business with this company anymore. The employees are at the desk are generally polite and helpful; however, this place is too big and too many things get lost in the shuffle. The right hand does not know what the left is doing. More
