Good car buying experience. Salesman took the time to explain the available options, look at a number of vehicles and take a test drive. Really tried to find the right car to meet my needs and not sell explain the available options, look at a number of vehicles and take a test drive. Eric worked with us many different cars, we were not sure exactly which car we were looking for and what was in our price range. Eric was very friendly and knowlagble He was able to have the car ready for us exactly which car we were looking for and what was in our price range. Eric was very friendly and knowlagble He was able to have the car ready for us in just days from the test drive as well as us financed. One stop shopping. I have recommended Eric to friends looking to make a car purchase. More
When I bought the 2008 Escape 10/10 there was a crack in the windshield. The Salesman said they would replace the windshield- which they did. However, they did a poor job installing he window and sealing i the windshield. The Salesman said they would replace the windshield- which they did. However, they did a poor job installing he window and sealing it correctly. The car began to smell like mold and must and the passenger floor was soaking! The car was brought to Mr. Stone who gave me a loaner car as the problem was corrected. After a few days the problem was corrected and we were told to pick it up. When I did pick the car up we had issues with the loaner car (they wanted to charge us for a day) and the car was dirty and 1/2 a tank of gas was gone! Thanks to Mr. Bruce Dancause all my frustrations and disappointment were corrected. Not only did he handle the car loaner problem, he paid for all the gas used. You are very lucky to have Mr. Dancause as your manager. He is polite, accommodating and thorough. I believe he is the main reason my family continues to purchase and maintain our vehicles with Tasca. Mom- Mary Haley Son-in-law Jim Garcia Many Thanks to Mr. Dancause! Ann Bannon More
Wow, where to even start? I went in to Tasca hoping to test drive a 2005 Hyundai Accent. Now, granted, it's a low-end car and one of the cheapest they had on the lot. Nevertheless, I expected the minimum test drive a 2005 Hyundai Accent. Now, granted, it's a low-end car and one of the cheapest they had on the lot. Nevertheless, I expected the minimum courtesy/professionalism since I was a prospective customer. Boy was I dumb to expect such a thing! I was "helped" by Alex who let me take the car for a test drive, then proceeded to ask for a good faith down payment ($200, which I agreed to). After 2 weeks of phone tag, etc. I found out that the outside financing I had pre-approved was not being accepted because the car in question's sticker price was ~$2000 more than the NADA clean car value. From that point on, Alex was even harder to get a hold of. He did agree to refund the $200, but was totally unfriendly/unhelpful and left me at the customer service desk unceremoniously for the receptionist there to run my card. The entire time he was totally uninformed about the car, did not offer me any other options (at least he didn't try to upsell me!), and left me with the impression that he was not interested in me as a customer. Avoid this place at all costs, particularly the "salesman" Alex C. More
My girlfriend and I went to this dealership to trade two vehicles in and get two new leased vehicles. I currently had a a Mazda and since we were looking at getting two Mazdas under a lease program this dea vehicles in and get two new leased vehicles. I currently had a a Mazda and since we were looking at getting two Mazdas under a lease program this dealership seemed like a logical choice. Upon first contacting the dealership I was very impressed with their internet sales rep. I had submitted a query online and was called very shortly after sending it. James was the name of the person who contacted me and he was very friendly and helpful and set up an appointment with a salesperson named Chanthy. Upon arriving at the dealership Chanthy was nice enough although he immediately tried to upsell us to the next model up from what we said we were looking at. He said they didnt have the model we expressed interest in but they would be arriving shortly. He progressed immediately to the "deal" without ever offering a test drive even on a slightly more optioned vehicle. His first offer came in way over our expressed budget and the trade offer was shockingly low on our two vehicles so we said no thanks and went to leave. Then the old standard, "What do we need to do to do business today" got whipped out. I told him it had to be under a certain number and after little delay he came back with "ok". Now i know it may sound great that he said that but it made us feel like he was trying to take advantage of us right off the bat and left us wondering how bad of a deal the current offer was. The deal was still in our price range so we thought we might go ahead on it. When he asked for a good faith deposit (which never, ever do by the way. I still keep agreeing to this even though i keep being told it is a bad idea) I originally said "no" and his reply was "Why not?" in a tone that was rather aggressive. We left to talk about it and eventually decided to give him the deposit and wait for the cars to arrive. Then the worst happened, my girlfriend lost her job and we were faced with a scary economic picture. We immediately contacted Chanthy and explained the circumstances to which he replied " I didn't realize our being able to conduct business was based on your girlfriend's employment". I mean, HELLO, of course it is!! We were told we had to speak to a manager at the dealership and had to come down. I did go down but never spoke with this phantom manager. Instead, after waiting 15 minutes in the dealership Chanthy came out and simply asked if I had my bank card with me. No "I'm so sorry that you guys are going through a tough time" no "It was really nice meeting you and I hope when things get straightened out you will come back" not even a handshake. While losing the job was a horrible thing to deal with, we were certainly glad we didnt end up starting a relationship with this dealer. Now we might have been given a good deal, we might have never had a problem with the service department, and we might have been ecstatic about the cars, but the overall "vibe" we got from this large dealership was that they were only nice to you while you were willing to spend money with them and it felt like they never had your best interest at heart. I would never set foot in this place again or ever recommend this dealer to anyone unless they had a very specific agenda in mind and had a plan where they never had to go back to this dealer for ANYTHING. I love Mazda, i will probably buy another one in the future, but I can assure you that I will never do any sort of business with this dealer ever again! More
At the beginning of the summer I purchased a 2006 MX5 Grand Touring from Tasca and during the sale they were extremely good. Abe, the salesperson, knew quite a bit of information about not only this mod Grand Touring from Tasca and during the sale they were extremely good. Abe, the salesperson, knew quite a bit of information about not only this model but previous models as he had owned one himself. I didnt feel as though he was pushing me into anything or trying to swindle me at all. I got the car for a great price without any haggling at all and they went out of their way to make sure I could obtain financing (I am young and have little credit history and just graduated and started my first decent job this summer). Aside from the Sale being a great experience, after about 6400 miles my engine blew :O. I knew it would be covered under warranty but I had never gone through something like that before and I was scared to death it wasnt going to be covered. Not only was it covered, but to make a long story short they went out of thier way to make sure everything was ok. The new engine was flown in in 1 business day, and installed in about a day (aside from one minor part that came in a day late. ) I didnt have to argue with them and, in fact, they really did most of the arguing most customers have to do, for me. I was given a rental car (Impala at that) and didnt pay a dime for the new engine installation and now I dont need an oil change anymore either. To be perfectly honest, I dont usually like Ford, Lincoln, Mazda, or Mercury, but I am almost sure I will by my next car from them again after seeing how important it was to them that I was satisfied with my new car. I really felt obligated to write them a good review somewhere and this is the first place I came across. PS my engine blew because of low oil after the engine break in procedure, it wasnt thier fault or the cars More
Just a horrible experience. I had already worked out a price via Email and was going down to get a quote on my Trade. Hal was rude, argumentative, and unknowledgeable. He questioned my choice in cars, tol price via Email and was going down to get a quote on my Trade. Hal was rude, argumentative, and unknowledgeable. He questioned my choice in cars, told me that options I wanted were not available (when they were) and refused to even look them up in the catalog. He had little to no social skills and just kept pushing me to buy a different model (which they had more of on their lot). I emailed a complaint to the Internet manager and got no response. A week or two later I got a followup letter from a manager saying to email them if I was not satisfied. I did and got no response. I emailed them again and was told that they didnt respond because they thought I made up my mind and was going somewhere else. Totally unapologetic. I did end up ordering my car from another local dealer who was slightly more expensive, but much more customer service oriented. Avoid Tasca at all costs. More
