Well here is the long version. My family has been buying cars from here for a while. My father had just purchased an F-150 using my discount because my company has a partnership due to my fleet being all Fo cars from here for a while. My father had just purchased an F-150 using my discount because my company has a partnership due to my fleet being all Ford. His process was great. I mentioned that I wanted one also with no return call. My father needed some service for something. When I went back with him I saw the sales man and asked why he never called. He then showed me a truck in the lot that I liked. I said I was interested in it. Later in the day I called and asked how much the total cost was. He gave me a price and I called the bank and was OK'd for the loan. I called him back and told him I had it. He then told me that the price he gave me was without taxes and everything else. It was a difference of over $2000. I instantly could tell that I wasn't being taken serioulsy. Between the no calls to the wrong price really keyed me in to this. So I complained and sat with the sales manager and went in circles. I ate half the difference and received a remote start for the truck. Was I totally satisfied? Not at all because I found that they ran my credit multiple times after I told them not to. So thanks for the negative credit hits Tasca. Now currently I have an issue with my truck that says tire pressure sensor fault. Fault being the key word. In the manual it states that it is something that is not just tire pressure. It is a code. Now not being a mechanic I would think that they knew to check that. Plus my radio would shut off every now and again. The first time I took it down they found nothing. The second time I told them problems do not go away and I want it fixed. They told me they had to order a part and I would receive a call in a week. Well a month later they called me to say the part was in. I brought my truck down for the 3rd time and dropped it off. The day before Easter weekend I had to pick it up. The place was a ghost town. The receptionist told me that if I wasn't there @ 5 she wouldn't wait. I told her it was warranty service so she told me that she would leave it with someone. I arrived before 5 and she gave me my slip. It stated nothing that I could see of any part changed. She told me to talk to service and noone was there. I waited for about 5 min and left. Before I arrived home the problem came back. I called service 11 days ago and the managers voice mail said he would be gone until this Monday starting the day after I called. So no call the next day or Tues after his return. For some reason I was thinking his name was Bruce. So when I called they transfered me to Tony I think. After making it sound like I was inconvienencing him. He took some basic information and said he would pass it to Bruce. When in fact when he told me his name I recognized it as the guy I left the message for. There isn't even a Bruce there I don't think. He told me that someone would call me. Yet here it is the next day and no return call. Tasca's motto is you will be satisfied.....Yeah right. You'll be moderatly satisfied if someone takes you seriously then when they get your money you won't. I'll be taking all my business eleswhere from now on. So will my family! More
I traveled from Enfield, Ct to look at a Ford Edge based on the great price and the excellent reviews I read on the service. I ended up purchasing my 2010 Ford Edge (while trading in my old vehicle)....DEFI on the great price and the excellent reviews I read on the service. I was looking for a newer Volvo for my wife. I searched I was looking for a newer Volvo for my wife. I searched vehicles on line and found that the best selection and prices were at Tasca. I was shocked I was looking for a newer Volvo for my wife. I searched vehicles on line and found that the best selection and prices were at Tasca. I was shocked with the inventory that the dealership had between Volvo, Ford and Mazda. I printed a few vehicles out and I was glad I did when I saw the number of vehicles on the lot. It was our first day out browsing actual vehicles. We were looking to trade her current Volvo in which we already knew she would be in the negative on the trade value. The salesman we dealt with was Ron DaSilva. He showed us 2 of the 3 vehicles with the 3rd being at the Seekonk dealership. We asked him what Tasca would be willing to give us on a trade for her vehicle. Since my wife works part time and she is the one making the payment, we needed to know what she was looking at for a payment. Well Ron needed to know that night whether we were buying the car. He worked out a number of $320/month with the only variable missing being the interest. I asked him to use his computer to give me an idea of the payment with different interest rates. He told me that the final payment would be about $380/month. I asked him what interest rate he based that upon and he replied, we don't know that until we close the deal. I should have walked out for good at this time. I told Ron to call us with a more definitive payment with interest. Having excellent credit, I called my credit union and found out that I qualified for a 3.9% interest rate for up to 6 years. When I returned home and went onto the Tasca website, I plugged the numbers in using the bottom line financed amount given to me by Ron with a 3.9 rate and my payment was only $358/mo. Then the day we went to pick the car up we noticed two large scratches on the hood which neither my wife nor myself noticed the first day. Ron's response was "what do you expect your buying a used car." He is a true used car salesman. One week in the E-brake locked up so we brought it in for service. When we got the car back it had more scratches on it that were not there prior. In addition, there was a stress fracture in the lowere moulding below the driver's door. I brought it to two friends who are mechanics and they told me that it appeared as though the car was put on the lift wrong and thats what caused the crease in the moulding. We brought it back to have mud flaps put on and also have the damage repaired. Don't you know, when it came out of service there was yet more scratches and scuffs that were not there prior. Chris, the service manager, was very nice to us and could not be more apologetic. It wasn't his fault he sits at the desk in service. Needless to say, I will not be bringing the car back to Tasca for service! As far as their motto, "you will be satisfied", I was not satisfied. More
I went it to buy a new truck for my business and it was going to be to much for the one we wanted, so found a used one that was in excellent condition and Tasca worked with the price for us too, so decided going to be to much for the one we wanted, so found a used one that was in excellent condition and Tasca worked with the price for us too, so decided to go with that one and salesman Tom Miller was very helpful throughout our whole time there. My purchase of a new vehicle included a trade-in. Steve Lawrence was very friendly and helpful. He took the time to research the best possible value for the vehicle I was trading in. My experience at Tasca here it goes… before going car shopping I had done a moderate amount of research prior to at the Tasca dealership. I was leaning to a particular model and needed a test drive to ma shopping I had done a moderate amount of research prior to at the Tasca dealership. I was leaning to a particular model and needed a test drive to make my decision. I was planning to trade in and trading up my fairly new Subaru Forester which was purchased from a family member at below listed cost. This transaction allowed me to have a substantial amount of equity in the vehicle which I hoped to apply to the new car purchase. I was interested in either a Ford Edge or a Lincoln MKX. From the moment I entered the showroom I was ‘sized up’. Granted, I had just come from the gym and was wearing gym appropriate attire and a baseball hat. For some reason the chatty salesman was more focused on the local coaches and institutions for which they had vehicle contracts with. I was able to test drive both vehicles and was about to make a decision on a nicely equipped Lincoln MKX. When I returned back into the showroom to run numbers – conversation shifted from business to sport radio. After fielding several irrelevant questions about what I do and where, he swiftly brought in his sales manager to subject me to further sports banter. I allowed the manager to blather on for approximately 10-15 minutes to which I asked where did the original salesman go? (Over the sales manger’s shoulder just outside of the showroom floor I saw my salesman meeting with appointment- apparently a bigger fish.) The manager went back to his athletic feats of foolishness to which I rose to my feet and headed for the exit. At or around the door the original salesman and the manager stopped me and asked why I leaving … it’s obvious you don’t need MY business gentleman. Bottom line – they never looked at my trade or reviewed my total cash lay down …what a waste of time. I ended up going to another dealership and received better customer service and no hustle. Good luck Tasca – I will never go back to that club house. More

The whole process was smooth and we didn't feel pressured. Jeff and Eva both worked with us to customize the car and financing, which was a relief as this was our first time buying a new car.
