Sales Associate was Apathetic, "Typical" Salesman This review has less to do with Tasca as a whole, but more with Jon as a salesman. We had read great reviews about Tasca, and were given several recommendations from coworkers who had bought cars there in the past. Usually they would say the process was easy and they didn't feel like they were being sold to by a "typical" car salesman. Our experience was quite the opposite. We test drove a used car that we found online, liked it, and fully intended to buy the car that day for a price we researched and felt to be fair (KBB fair purchase prices would agree). Long story short, our price was not met, and we were going to call it a loss and leave. Instead of eating the lost sale, our salesman Jon talked us into a corner and recommended we just try calling our bank to get an extra $1200 added onto the car loan. "An extra thousand dollars on a loan won't really change the monthly payments by much," he mentioned, assuming my we didn't know how loans work. He would hold the car for a small fee for the weekend while we "figured it out with our bank." He also mentioned amidst negotiation that he still makes $140 for each used car he sells, a figure too low to convey any sense of motivation to sell us a car, and all said with a tone too apathetic to believe he felt badly about losing our sale over the next buyer's. We left and received a handful of phone calls over the next few days, and a voicemail from Jon saying they'd hold the car "free of charge" while we "figured things out". It offended us to know that our budget meant nothing to Jon, and that while working for a dealership that, at the time of review, is offering 25% off MSRP of brand new cars, he (or perhaps his manager) was worried about losing $1200 on a car that had already seen 3 drops in price over the past month. We bought a car elsewhere 2 days later where we were able to test drive and buy the car within an hour, at a price we were comfortable with. TL;DR - From a buyer's perspective, Jon is a typical car salesman. He is unhelpful, and will use sales-speak to waste your time and money. Maybe we're out of touch, but blatantly wasting people's time shouldn't be an accepted business practice for car salesmen. More

Our sales consultant, Michael Yang, and sales manager, Bernie Spann, were very helpful and accommodating. Mike took us for a test drive while Bernie worked his magic with the numbers. We ended-up leaving the same day with a car that had more bells and whistles for just a few dollars more. More

Great car buying experience My husband and I bought a new truck here last Saturday. We were greeted at the door by a very friendly salesman, Don. He took the time to talk to us My husband and I bought a new truck here last Saturday. We were greeted at the door by a very friendly salesman, Don. He took the time to talk to us and figure out what we were looking for. He walked around the lot with us showing us all our different options. He was very knowledgeable regarding each truck he was showing us and the very small differences that made one better than the other and help us find what we needed to tow our new camper. We met 2 of the Tasca owners while we were there. That was a pleasant surprise. We were offered water, coffee and sandwiches while we worked out a deal. We left with a brand-new truck. We were both very excited. I would recommend Tasca to anyone. It was really a great buying experience. More
