Just went in to look but ending up purchasing pre-owned Lexus SUV! Chad was excellent, honest, very upfront and didn't waste our time which is a BIG plus for me. I have had the pleasure of the Tarrytown Honda Experience, to assist me with the purchase of a new Honda. From the first email exchanges with Cheslea Guzman-Internet Manager, to Ayla Cruz- Sales C Experience, to assist me with the purchase of a new Honda. From the first email exchanges with Cheslea Guzman-Internet Manager, to Ayla Cruz- Sales Consultant, to Roberto Ortiz, Finance Manager. 5-Stars *****. They have given me their finest skills, from an out-of-state customer. Tarrytown Honda, the only dealer in a forty mile radius that had the Accord Sport Sedan, with a 6-Spd manual transmission. Even though my trade-in wasn't in great shape, they were fair with their appraisal of my vehicle. Ayla, was instrumental in all aspects of my purchase. Needing a vehicle quickly, with my mom in hospice, she went far and beyond any sales consultant I've dealt with. Helping with things, such as getting the trade-in cleaned out, inspected, with the utmost attention to detail. If one can imagine, the many things going through my head with family matters, her skill, with only four months experience was SEVEN STARS*******. I need you to congratulate her, sharing this review with her. Telling her that she is above, and beyond my expectations. Sincere, thoughtful, managing every detail, bringing associates into the transaction, to have it completed in FOUR HOURS!!! How's that for "Getting things done" She is an asset to your company, your dealership. your team of service advisors, and associates, with my car being prepped in record time. Don't forget, there was a lot of snow, making it difficult to maneuver cars in the lot. My new car was waiting for me. Ayla completely explained the vehicle in detail; the smartphone/blue-tooth procedure, setting radio stations, everything I needed to drive in rush-hour traffic, back to Ct. An hour's drive, on a good day. I'm a picky, detailed, obsessive buyer. Then to add the personal drama of my situation. You've been the BEST Dealer Experience!!!! On Tuesday, Feb 19, I called for a service appt and spoke with Vanessa (?) I told her I had hit a pot hole, had a flat and a bent rim, when could I come and get my car fixed. She came back and told me to come up on this date at 1pm, which I did. On my way to the dealership, I hit another pot hole and had to be towed to Honda. When I arrived I was given a piece of paper and told to bring it to the service desk, Mr. Grullon. I was having a very bad day especially after having the car towed and then to be told that they did not have the rim in stock I would have to leave the car there and getting home to the Bronx was on me, no courtesy ride, etc. I also had another ongoing problem with my remote key. So while having a bad cold, being frustrated and being stranded I was waiting for my husband to call me back. when my husband called me back, I was a few feet away from the service desk, at some point in my private conversation with my husband, I relayed to him that I was totally frustrated and sick of this sh*t. At this point, Mr. Grullon jumped off his stool, got in my face and personal space and started screaming at me that if I was going to use this type of language, I could just take my car and go home. After having a conversation with Mr. Bill P, who was helping me with another issue that was related to my remote key, he was going to attempt to get me a ride home, I waited in the waiting area. After one hour, my husband and my son, were infuriated that the service person spoke to me in the manner he did, and told me to call AAA and have the car removed from Tarrytown Honda and brought elsewhere, which was rudely suggested to me by Mr. Grullon's. So that is what I did. After this experience, I will not shop or service my vehicle at Tarrytown Honda. While Mr. Bill P, was very nice in dealing with me, I had explained to him that since I bought the car a few months ago, the remote key is continually not working. This was my 4th trip to Tarrytown Honda about this issue. He told me there was no paper work indicating this situation and that he replaced the battery (once again) and that they would start a paper trail from hereonin in order to remediate the situation with the key. Unacceptable to me, but had little choice, this would cause me to continue to bring the remote key back several more times before they would/could investigate and remedy the issue at hand. As I said earlier, this was one of the worst experience I have ever had with customer service issue anywhere. As stated above, I have decided I will never deal with this dealership again for any reason and will make advise my friends and family of the same. More

This happened when I wanted to leave to go look at other brands at other dealers, and when I did not want to purchase "5 year" service warranty. After I have been given the information with which to make my own decision, I do no need any further convincing to spend money on anything. That said, Roberto was very competent and clear explaining financing, and patient when he needed to explain some things more than once. James was great at breaking down a lot of information clearly and repeating it as needed. He was very attentive to the needs of my family members, who ranged a lot in age. We felt comfortable in the dealership. Chris Mendicina, the general manager was able to be hands on when needed, but also allowed James to do his job. A good team. The music in the dealership was overbearing, loud, and inappropriate. With that many guys sitting around in a room full of cars, it would be good to avoid the feeling of a teenage boy's party, and, while most things were professional and clear headed, the music was ridiculous and annoying. We asked to have it turned down, to no avail. Very nice people, no back peddling, no trickery, no scams. Very straightforward and friendly. (Note: Also, it is too difficult to use the password/username function on the website. It rejects passwords, then takes you in loops. Make it easy.) More

I had an outstanding experience at this dealership. I initially went to Tarrytown Honda to look at a Civic, but I didn't comfortably fit in the front seat, much to my dismay! However, there was a used 2012 Mazda3 that had caught my eye. The salesperson I worked with was fabulous, answering any questions we had as well as listening to our needs. The person who had traded in the Mazda was a customer of hers, which helped ease my fears of buying a used car. Walking in, I wasn't sure what I was planning to do, but by the time I walked out, I knew that it was the car for me. The finance manager I worked with was able to secure a lower APR rate than I was expecting, and walked me through each aspect of the paperwork. There were no surprises, no haggling, and they made me feel like my business mattered to them. I cannot stress enough how great everyone's attitude was, and I would absolutely recommend Tarrytown Honda to anyone looking to buy.. More
