Other problems were not addressed like frequent failing battery where I was told it was because I didn't drive enough. The battery failed but after 3 years which they said was the end of warranty so I had to pay. At one service around 18.5K miles for oil change and tire rotation when I left the facility the tires were very noisy I called and the service person said to put a couple of hundred miles on the car they would quiet down. Never happen and when I looked at the treads they were worn badly which was not the case when I took the car in for service. The switched my good tires out for the badly worn ones. Also last service on check engine light the diagnosis was totally wrong and they replaced parts that didn't require replacing. They stock few parts mainly filters and brakes and use overnight service which I'm sure in embedded in the bill. Also service rates were jacked up to $99 an/hour plus they started adding up to 10% for service materials. I complained to Hyundai and detailed all of the problems and when they got back to me they said the problem is with the dealer and I told them that was the problem. Hyundai did nothing! Hard to believe that Hyundai allows Morristown Hyundai to even sell Genesis models. Unfortunately my Genesis got totaled by a driver with suspended license and no insurance. The new replacement car I bought was not a Hyundai. More
Shady Financing - Strong Armed Me Into Extra Warranty I purchased a 2008 Toyota Sienna on 8/8/2017 from Morristown Huyndai. The sale process was rather smooth, but it took them literally all day - I was t I purchased a 2008 Toyota Sienna on 8/8/2017 from Morristown Huyndai. The sale process was rather smooth, but it took them literally all day - I was there from 9am until nearly 7 at night - to process a single vehicle purchase. During the financing portion of the sale, they pushed me away from using my own credit union, saying the interest rate was too high, but then proceeded to tack on a $2500 warranty for electrical components on a $10000 van. They said it was a deal breaker for the bank, and that the vehicle wouldn't receive financing without this extra warranty, but that if I waited 90 days I could cancel it for a refund. I waited 90 days - just long enough to get this thing cancelled, and also apparently to lose any right to a refund I'd have had on my gap insurance when I refinanced. I called them to make arrangements to cancel, and they told me over the phone they'd taken care of it. I waited a couple of weeks, called back, and then the person I spoke with said they would have needed extra documentation from me and that the first person didn't know what he was talking about. When I finally got my refund, it was $500 short, because in 3 months, I'd put miles on the van, and apparently, those miles counted against my refund. I also had a flat tire within the first week of purchasing. I called the dealership to see if it was covered by one of my several warranties, since it'd been only a week since purchase and the tires wouldn't pass inspection in NC. The lady in their repair dept said, "No, tires aren't covered." Fast forward a month, and I have to take it in because of an oil leak, and I speak again with their repairs department who *then* tells me that if I'd gotten a receipt and explanation of damages to the tire, I probably could have gotten one on the warranty, with no issue. I should never have made a vehicle purchase at Morristown Hyundai, and will be sure to let anyone who is car shopping know. More

Since they won’t return my calls, I assume they are not going to keep their word about having the hitch installed. I guess I know what kind of people I’m dealing with now. More
