I worked with Tony LaFond to purchase a new vehicle. I came from out of state to purchase it, and he was helpful from start to finish. He helped me secure the car I wanted as soon inquired about it with I came from out of state to purchase it, and he was helpful from start to finish. He helped me secure the car I wanted as soon inquired about it with a hold deposit. Then he stayed in touch with me throughout the process of its shipment to their dealership. The day I picked up the car/signed all the paperwork, Tony made it painless and easy. He is also really fun to talk to so the whole process was enjoyable. Highly recommend working with him. Bryan in finance was also very kind, helpful, and efficient. More
Oil change at Tansky/Sawmill costs ~$80 after tax. Same oil change to same car at two other toyota dealerships in the same city only costs ~$40 after tax. I have been a customer of Tansky/Sawmill for over 20yrs and their service was great in the past but no longer, they charge double on some things, 50% more on others, or just $20 more here and there, but it all adds up. On my most recent visit to Tansky/Sawmill on 11/18/21, the technician accidentally cracked my water pump, then the resultant coolant leak broke my starter. (there was no coolant leak prior to my visit and the next day after the visit my coolant tank was empty and after refilling, it would drain empty per day) That repair cost me $1,145 before tax, one expensive mistake. Tansky/Sawmill’s management made no apology or offer to compensate(I didn’t expect them to, since their management previously lied to my face about a part being unorderable when another toyota dealership was able to order the same part within seven to ten days and a third toyota dealership was able to order the same part within one to five days). To be fair, the water pump was old and the plastic probably got brittle over time and the honest mistake of the inexperienced new technician’s clumsiness caused a huge problem. My recommendation is that if you are getting minor inexpensive things done, keep going to Tansky/Sawmill, but if you are getting major work done/expensive work done, then take the effort to drive to a further dealership, go to one of the other cheaper and higher quality Toyota dealerships. Tansky/Sawmill’s rental service is also not as organized, transparent and reliable as Buckeye/Lancaster’s. More

Lexus Owners, This One's For You! I can't say enough good things about this dealership, both sales and service but I want to comment about my service experience there. I have a 2004 Lexus RX 330 with 3 good things about this dealership, both sales and service but I want to comment about my service experience there. I have a 2004 Lexus RX 330 with 340,000 miles (including a road trip from Columbus to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska) and the reason it's still on the road is the Tansky folks. In particular, I want to give a huge shout out to Chuck (service writer) and Dave (senior technician). Besides knowledge of Toyota cars, both of them are very knowledgeable about Lexus as well (I think both worked at a Lexus dealership before coming to Tansky). I've been taking my car there for years (and well over 250,000 miles of driving!) and they know what to do to keep my car running. They are honest, straightforward, thoughtful, highly skilled and I totally trust them. They're also both really good people. I send folks their way and I can't say enough good things about Chuck and Dave and Tansky in general. On the sales side I've worked with Warren and he's also great, and I also want to mention Tom, who provides courtesy rides home if you can't wait for the work to be done!. Lexus owners, you have a GREAT option for service in Tansky Toyota! More
Warren is a rock star. I ordered a 2022 Highlander platinum and can't say enough good about Warren. He was super patient with my picky specifics, not in the least pushy and very knowledgeable. After the sale I have had questions about all the technology (good grief theses cars are complicated!) and he is just as responsive as before the sale! When I had difficulty with the Homelink garage door opener Warren looked online and sent me a YouTube link to a good step by step... At 8pm!!! In 25 years of buying cars, I have not had a better experience with a salesman than this. And let's face it- you can get in line and order the same Toyota from several dealerships in town and you will pay the same price due to shortages. So why not pick the best experience? Highly recommend Warren!!!!! More
