I appreciate your reaching out to my posting, Mr. Zellers, I am surprised that you name does not appear as staff on the Tamiami Ford website. The number you left to respond to is the same number I called and was connected with a women with little skill in the English language. Eventually I was transferred to voicemail, left a detail message and was never contacted. I have tried to have 3 separate services on my 2018 Ford Explorer since November. Rob Olienick was my sales person (November 2022) and upon purchase was promised a complimentary first service when I returned from my summer home. There was no record of this complimentary service and no Rob Olienick when I made an appointment for the service. I was told that the service would be 2 hours and completely on my dime. It took over 4 hours with an additional charge for using a credit card. Several months later the keyless code panel on the driver side door fell completely off banging against the body of the vehicle. I made an appointment with Tamiami for 10am Friday , February 16th. Leo Maldonado told me with no expression that the vehicle would not ever be looked at for over 2 hours and I would have to leave the car. He offered complimentary Uber service with 10 miles. I leave on Bonita Beach Road, more than 20 miles.. No complimentary service. I made another appointment for Monday, February 26 at 10am, but called on Friday, February 23 to confirm. Here I was greet by the non-English receptionist as I earlier explained. She transferred to voicemail, I left a detailed message, yet never received any response back. I showed up for my 10am appointment, but first stepped in to speak with a supervisor/manager. A service representative greeted me in about 10 minutes with a note showing me the key panel would be $343.10/labor and $450.20/parts….$793.30 plus tax to me not counting the 3% surcharge if I used a credit card. OH, the part was not in stock, and nobody had the common courtesy of contacting me. This was now 3 trips to Tamiami Ford with no service rendered. The service person did not even want to discuss the other two issues on my repair list. A handle had become detached for the dashboard vent. Merely needed to be glued back. Service agent told my the entire dashboard vent would need to be replaced. The driver side windshield washer does not work and his response was did you put fluid in it. When I responded, yes, windshield wiper fluid, his response was why don’t you just blow the line out yourself. Apparently, this is everyday service at Tamiami Ford where the owners claim on tv it’s all about the name!! That doesn’t say much in my book from my 3 lackluster experiences. AJ, if you want to do something for me, replace the defective poorly manufactured remote key panel on the drivers door as and extended warranty issue and I will happily say good-bye to you for ever. To this point I have absolutely nothing good to say about Tamiami Ford and lack of competent, cooperative, skilled, or courteous staff. Service is your business!!! You need lessons!!!!!
