I own a 2016 Hyundai Elantra. I had car serviced on August 7, 2024. David’s mannerisms were a little rude. When I 1st drove up, he asked for my name, & I began explaining why I wa I had car serviced on August 7, 2024. David’s mannerisms were a little rude. When I 1st drove up, he asked for my name, & I began explaining why I was there & the safety recalls on vehicle that were needing serviced. He immediately interrupted me & said,”Well hang on & let me find you first”. Then, he told me to put the car in park & leave the key inside. Then, he said rudely, “Roll your window down, we don’t want to lock the keys in there!”. His attitude worsened after service was completed & I denied additional recommended services. When I asked additional questions confirming the documents I had to sign, he responded with, “Yep!”. In Alabama, we say “yes ma’am”. It’s not gonna hurt anyone to be polite. He just seemed annoyed entirely by my presence. I didn’t appreciate his attitude at all. If I choose to return to Tameron Hyundai, I do not want to deal with David again. It’s funny that your slogan is, “You’re going to like the way you’re treated”, when I didn’t like the way I was treated. This was my first experience with Tameron Hyundai service dept., & may very well be my last. Please address these issues with David, as I would hate for anyone else to have this experience. Came in for a recall service. Was told after I got there that the sunroof needed to be replaced and they didn't have the part. I told them I needed a loner car then until it was d Was told after I got there that the sunroof needed to be replaced and they didn't have the part. I told them I needed a loner car then until it was done. Got that done but after pickup 2 days later, realized NOONE, including David, the service manager, ever checked the VIN to make sure it was the correct recall for my vehicle. They logged the recall on a vehicle I don't own anymore! They did the non hybrid recall on my hybrid vehicle. They didnt notice that the invoice color was copper and the vehicle they were working on was red and a hybrid! Now after completing the recall work on the wrong vehicle, they want me to bring it back to reinspect it and log the correction! BTW the sunroof on the hybrid recall was not part of the recall and didn't need to be replaced. More
