Extended warranty ran out the week before expensive maintenance was required for this car. I bought the car from Tameron, but after they refused to even give me a token discount on the over 600 dollar maintenance was required for this car. I bought the car from Tameron, but after they refused to even give me a token discount on the over 600 dollar repair bill, I will never darken their door again. The following month I went out and bought a new 2009 Toyota Camry to replace a 1998 4-Runner. I would have bought another Accord. When I decide to replace the Accord as well, I will again turn to Toyota, unless I can find a more trustworthy and dependable Honda dealer. More
I drove from Montgomery to Hoover because Rob, manager told me the car I was wanting, 2008 red accord was on their lot. When I arrived, I was told by Kay that the car was not there any longer. I honestly believe that Rob lied to me to get me onto the lot assuming that since my family and I had driven all the way from Montgomery to Hoover we would buy a car. WRONG.... We did but drove to Brannon Honda. We were very satisfied at Brannon. Also, I really believe that the lady, Kay, was not in on the dishonesty of her LIAR MANAGER ROB, She seemed confused when we told her why we were there and who we had talkd to. WE will NEVER, EVER, go to Tameron Honda. My friend in in Birmingham says Tameron is constantly advertising for salespeopl. It is probably because they can't get enough people to lie for them. This dealer has a Life Care policy that is bogus. The policy states that if you allow Tameron Honda to service your vehicle they will guarantee a 250,000 mile drive train warranty. All of my service has policy states that if you allow Tameron Honda to service your vehicle they will guarantee a 250,000 mile drive train warranty. All of my service has been completed by Tameron and on my 50,000 mile visit I was told that my warranty was voided because I did not complete some of the requirements, one being change a dust and polution filter in the dash, which has nothing to do with the performance of the drivetrain. I have a signed document stating that I wish to participate in the Tameron Honda Life Care program and I also have all documentation of service provided by Tameron on my vehicle. Tameron service failed to complete all required service on my vehicle. While out of town my car began to operate poorly(poor gas mileage and low power). My husband and I pulled into a local auto parts store and pulled the air filter only to find out that at 40,000+ miles that it had not been changed. When I take my car in for service, especially Life Care Service, I expect the air filter to be replaced as well as any other services demed needed on that particular visit. I would like to know if Tameron has screwed anyone else with this bogas LifeCare agreement. More
The people at this dealership are the true definition of "used car salesmen". My brother bought his first car on his own through this dealership. The sales associate told my brother if he would put $5,000 down on the car then he could finance it throught their dealership. My brother went to his credit union and got a much better rate and financed the entire price of the vehicle. The credit union assocaite called and confirmed the final price with the dealership and cut a check for the full amount of the car. My brother returned to the dealership, delivered the check from the credit union to Mr. Spivey. Mr. Spivey showed my brother where to sign on all of the paperwork, gave him the keys and told him to enjoy his new vehicle. A week later (after my brother returns to his Air Force station) the dealership called and informed him that he owed them $5,000 down payment and if he didn't get them the money they would send someone to get the vehicle from him. After my brother pulled his copy of the paperwork he noticed they had tacked $5,000 on to the original price he had agreed to and noted that he would pay $5,000 down. After talking to Spivey and the manager of the dealership my brother started sending them letters requesting copies of all paperwork and recordings of the final sale of the vehicle. Now the dealership will not call him back or give him an answer on whether or not he will get a new corrected bill of sale that shows the correct amounts. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone! They seem to be crooks! More

I did a lot of research before shopping, and was weary of going to Tameron after reading the reviews on this website. I can only say that either everyone else just had a bad experience, or that I am the only one who has been treated with the utmost professionalism. Everything went quickly and smoothly from the salesman meeting me on the lot, showing me several used accords to choose from, all the way to the paperwork with the business manager. They worked with me to find the car that I REALLY wanted (an 06 accord) and then we worked with what I could afford. Everyone was so helpful and professional. The salesman was nothing like what I had encountered at other dealers. He may very well be the nicest person I have ever met. I feel very good about the decision I made to shop at Tameron. I take my car there for all the regular maintainance and I feel like I am treated like a queen in their service department! I will definitely be buying my next Honda from Tameron! More
Be careful -- I was openly lied to pre purchasem, saying that if the noise I was conserned about was engine related they would fix it or refund the purchase. Bought one vehicle from them but will NEVER buy from Tameron again. She had to skip her graduate classes and I had to leave work early to meet with Steve. He did not even know what inventory he had. It was pouring rain at night and we waded thru puddle after puddle walking all over his back lot searching for a 2006 Accord Coupe...in our dress clothes and now soaked leather soled shoes. He was pleasant and so were we, but he was noticeably nervous and visably shaking. After wasting 2-1/2 hours, Steve finally presented his first offer, which was only $400 below sticker, not $2,700 as originally quoted. We should have suspected something when we saw him, the sales mgr and another employee laughing while working up our numbrs and keeping us waiting...and waiting...and waiting. He tried to present the offer in terms of her down payment...as if it was part of the "discount". I told him not to try that angle and to give us the bottom line price. We didn't bother to counter offer. We just walked out of the dealership. And, I might add, we left very, very angry at him and Tameron Honda. AVOID THIS DEALER!!!!!! More
This dealership has been nothing but a bad dream. I received a junk car and high interest rate financing. I have received harrassing phone calls at work to my manager. They do a bait and switch on used, up prices to whatever they feel. After noting that the blue book price on a vehicle I was interested in was $1500 less, at least, than they were listing it for, they not they feel.
