I am a HUGE Honda fan, in fact the 2011 Honda Accord we bought at Serra Honda in Sylacauga 2 weeks ago is a dream! Note we DID NOT purchase our car from Tameron Honda although I had bought two vehicles fr bought at Serra Honda in Sylacauga 2 weeks ago is a dream! Note we DID NOT purchase our car from Tameron Honda although I had bought two vehicles from them in the past and had always been pleased with the service department for routine maintenance. Tameron contacted me to BEG me to come trade my 2006 Civic, so after several attempts on their part, we made the trip to the dealership. What a waste of a beautiful day! I had CLEARLY expressed to the salesman the desire to test and compare an Accord and a Pilot. I was also extremely clear on our financial situation and what we hoped to accomplish. Odd, honesty is what I believe in and what I think is not too much to expect when making a large purchase like a vehicle. The "gentleman" (thankfully, can't remember his name) who was to help us that day presented himself toting a jug of tea and wearing a sweat rag around his neck. This was the same man I had spoken with for 45 minutes on the phone the day before, but he was unable to remember ANYTHING I had told him...had to start all over!! Initially he told us that they didn't even have a Pilot with the specs we were interested in, but 30 minutes after standing in the heat (sweat POURING off him), he was MAGICALLY able to produce a Pilot for us to test drive. Loved it, but we also wanted to test an Accord (which I had made very clear from the onset). During the test drive we continued to reiterate what we could do financially. Got back and tested the Accord. Loved it, too, but what we really needed for the decision-making process was to see Pilot payment vs. Accord payment. OBVIOUSLY way too much to ask because another hour dragged by with not so much as an offer of a cup of coffee or bottle of water as our "salesman" sat guzzling his sweet tea. The only thing they could come up with was for the Pilot...$4000 down and $1400/month!!! He looked at us like we had three heads apiece when we balked. NOTHING I had told him previously had been considered. We knew that trading a Civic for a Pilot would be different, but SERIOUSLY?! He actually became belligerent with us and said, "What did you people think your payment was going to be?" REALLY?! Then to top it off, the "floor manager" drags the cardboard cut-out of "Mr.Opportunity" over to the cublicle, knocks on the desk and says, "Ya'll here that...it's Mr. Opportunity." Even my precious ten year old daughter didn't appreciate the attempt at humor, nor did she appreciate them taking her balloon away from her on the way out of the dealership! After more than 4 hours, we left in my Civic....hungry, offended and thoroughly disappointed. Three days later, the phone calls and e-mails from someone at the dealership we HAD NOT even met began expressing her enjoyment of our visit and the time we had spent test driving the new Civic with her....SERIOUSLY?! I am still receiving e-mails from "Gina" at Tameron asking if I still am interested in trading even AFTER I replied to inform her of the purchase made at Serra Honda of Sylacauga. I have to wonder whether Tameron ever really sells new cars because as another reviewer said actual numbers/quotes were extremely hard to get from the salesman. Glossy showroom...sales staff, not so much. More
Only car dealer I've ever been to that would not give me a price on a new car or my trade-in! Went in to get a trade-in price on my four-year-old Honda Odyssey in outstanding shape with low miles and get a a price on a new car or my trade-in! Went in to get a trade-in price on my four-year-old Honda Odyssey in outstanding shape with low miles and get a price on new, loaded CRV. They had me fill out paperwork and sign for the appraisal, then told me that it costs them money to do an appraisal so they couldn't do it! Gave me a pamphlet with some price guarantee and basically told me to go other dealers and get prices, then come back to them and they would beat it or give me $200. I asked to speak to the GM but he wasn't there and they said, "Well, you need to understand, this is policy!" Went to another dealer the same night and walked away with quotes, no hassle, no signature, no form. ADDENDUM In the interest of full disclosure: The next day I decided to inform the GM of my experience. I called the guy the salesman had listed as the GM. I never could get him on the desk phone, so on my 4th attempt I asked the operator who the GM was. Turns out it was a different name. Anyway, got him on the phone with the Sales Mgr. (the name I was given as GM)and proceeded to relate my experience. They apologized and said that it was not policy and the floor manager I had spoken with was new. The GM then directed the SM to make it right. He came back 10 minutes later with a price lower than the other two dealerships I had visited. As of today, the CRV has been ordered, as has my sister-in-law's Odyssey from Tameron. More

Fake promises to get customers indoor and then rip them off. I will never recommends' dealer to anyone. They wasted my whole day also promised me that if I come they will fill my gas tank. They only gave m off. I will never recommends' dealer to anyone. They wasted my whole day also promised me that if I come they will fill my gas tank. They only gave me $25 gas; I drove 115 miles one way. This dealer promised me Honda Odyssey 2011 touring at $480.00 a month lease 36 months with zero down on phone but when I got their numbers changed to 48 month lease with 4K down and monthly payment went more than $800. a month. This was leasing not a buy and Jeff said this is their Best offer. I think their Best is SUCKS. This Dealer should change their name to a RIP OFF CAR DEALER. More

It has left my wife stranded seven times in less than two months and not a single person from Tameron has returned my calls. The ONLY time I've even spoken to anyone other than the receptionist since calling again was when I reached one of them at home on his cell phone. Rather than help (and he was the sales guy that sold it to us), he informed me that it was his off day and I should call back to their office. More
I found a CR-V that was cheaper in another city and asked if they would go down to the same price and they "If it's only about price then we cannot help you out." I went to the same dealership in 2007 and g if they would go down to the same price and they "If it's only about price then we cannot help you out." I went to the same dealership in 2007 and got about the same answer to a similar question. I haven't bought a Honda just because of that dealership. More

2008 Honda Accord had to have new brakes at 42k miles, oil pressure switch replaced, computer reset....and a laundry list of other issues. Its bad enough the car is a lemon....but the service department oil pressure switch replaced, computer reset....and a laundry list of other issues. I purchased a new Honda Accord in May '10. For the first few weeks, was extremely happy with the vehicle. After the middle of June, I started to hear a popping/knocking on the front drivers side. Contacte few weeks, was extremely happy with the vehicle. After the middle of June, I started to hear a popping/knocking on the front drivers side. Contacted the service department and scheduled an appointment for June 23rd (car was dropped off a 7am and I picked it up by 3pm). Drove the service tech around the building, confirmed that he heard the noise. Zach called that afternoon and stated there was loose bolts and the techs "retorqued all front lower suspension bolts, rack mounting bolts and upper struts housings". Drove the car for about a week when the noise returned. Scheduled a second appointment for July 9th for the same issue and again drove the service tech, noise confirmed (car was at dealer for 4 days, rented a car for vacation) - again Zach stated "right lower control arm rear bushing/bolt retorqued" same as the 6/23 visit. They also completed their "multi-point vehicle inspection". Returned from vacation, excited that my new Accord would be running correctly. Unfortunately, a week to the day later the noise returned. So for the third time, the car is at the service department. Per Zach, they will contact Honda to see if anyone else has had this problem and to see if there is a recall (would thought this we have been done sooner, you know the first time it was in the service department). Had to fight with Tameron for a rental - with only 3000miles on the car, should not be having this problem and THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO RETORQUE that many times. Looking at contacting an attorney at this point, as the car is failing under the Lemon Law. At this point, Tameron seems a little dumbfounded on what to do.... Wishing now I still had my Ford. Extremely unhappy with this 2010 Accord More
The advertisements and online quotes sent to me by this dealer are very misleading. This dealer adds "dealer options" to every car on the lot.(wish I had known before going to lot and I would not have gon dealer are very misleading. This dealer adds "dealer options" to every car on the lot.(wish I had known before going to lot and I would not have gone). These options include pin-striping $149.00, rear mud guards $349.00, "tameron car care", which I was told was some kind of clear coat protection on the paint, $649.00, moon roof visor $349.00, and some other crap that I did not want on my car. I had been corresponding with Gina through emails and I never could get her to give me an "out the door price"(should have been a clue that the e-price I was given was too good to be true). I had heard from several people about these dealer installed options that Tameron Honda adds to their cars. The day before going to the lot I spoke with Barry Butts who assured me that if I came to buy the car that I could get a "car straight off the truck" if I did not want the dealer options. Well..... I drive an hour to this dealership and Gina made heself scarce. She introduced me to a sales representative and I never saw her again. Next I test drive the car and I am pleased and I sign an agreement that if the price is right I will but the day that day. HERE COME THE VULTURES!! After 45 minutes of waiting at the sales representaives desk some man I don't remember his name brought me a price on a car with every dealer option on the car. I explained to him that I did not want the dealer options and he proceeded to tell me that he did not have a car on the lot without these options. A big fat lie because the sales representative had already told me she had one similar to the car I wanted just a different color interior. Then I get upset. I calmly tell him that I am sorry to have wasted his time and I get ready to leave. He goes and finds another man Dwayne who tells me that he does not have a car without the options, another lie. I get ready to walk out and he comes up with a price on a car without the options which is $1,0000 more than the car with the options. I seriously hope that I did not appear that STUPID! I argued with him that I had been given a price on the car as well as a $1,0000 discount and he told me that the price I was given was on a car with the dealer installed options only, however the options were not included in the price I was given. Sound misleading to you? I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. 2 hours and 30 minutes I leave the dealership, no new car and mad as xxxx. I have driven a Honda Accord for twelve years and love the car. I would not take a car with Tameron written on it if it were free. BEWARE OF THIS DEALERS ADVETISEMENTS! More
