I went to Tameron Honda for trading in my leased sedan and leasing a new Honda Odyssey EX-L. My interaction happened on 5/24/2013 around 5pm. We were originally supposed to see sales rep Mr. Jared Myers, and leasing a new Honda Odyssey EX-L. My interaction happened on 5/24/2013 around 5pm. We were originally supposed to see sales rep Mr. Jared Myers, but as he was not in that day, we were dealt with by another sales rep whose name unfortunately we do not remember. Firstly, their appraisal of my car was way below par for the condition it is in. When I requested the sales rep to see KBB, he gave me a quote based on "fair" condition, while my car is in fact in "very good" condition. He said a very small dent in the car door had brought down its value and that they were indeed offering a better price than what KBB quoted. He then lied blatantly, saying that in KBB, after "excellent", the next grade is "fair"! Secondly, as I was interested in bargaining for a better-than-quoted price on leasing, the sales rep brought in the manager, Mr. Rob Nelson. Mr. Nelson used tactics of intimidation. He asked if we were truly interested in the Odyssey EX-L model or had mistaken it to something else. He went on abusively saying we didn't understand math! He continued in a dismissive tone that he didn't understand why we were there, 'hoping' for things to work out (maybe he truly doesn't understand that people go to dealerships for business, not for taking a math class from him; or maybe he had had enough with the world and badly wanted a break during the long weekend)! I don't know if these dealers realize that with the help of internet, people nowadays are far more educated in the tactics they use with customers. I don't know if Mr. Nelson realized that there are indeed other dealerships where I can lease the car from, for a much better rate than he quoted, without being pressured, intimidated or abused. HE lost a genuine customer. My wife and I just walked out (although I had half a mind to teach him some math and business sense). Bottom line: AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP. THERE ARE OTHER DEALERSHIPS SELLING HONDA VEHICLES IN A MUCH MORE PROFESSIONAL MANNER. More

We couldn't be happier, we lowered our payment dramatically, we traded up to a 2010 from a 2005 and we are saving money. Eric is a master of juggling numbers to meet our target monthly price. The Finance guru set us up with a great APR and even a new pen for my wife (inside joke). After doing significant research I decided that the best deal and guaranteed excellent customer service would be across state lines in AL (im from MS). And man was it worth the drive. I originally was going to drive further to another Honda dealer for a cheaper internet price, but after stopping at Tameron Honda and meeting Johnny, he assured me he would work his hardest to get me the absolute best possible price, And HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Johnny provides calm, knowledgeable, and accurate service with an very friendly demeanor throughout the whole process. He want above and beyond by ordering my car from another dealer (because the exact model/color is very rare) and alerted me as soon as the car was in the area. This dealership and Johnny are unlike any other I've ever been to. Johnny will look you in the eye, and will be 100% honest with you and does not toss any B.S. around, and it was highly appreciated on my end. They want you to walk away happy no matter what and, especially Johnny, will bend over backwards to make sure you're stress free and are getting the exact car you want! A++ would highly recommend.
