Tameron Honda Lied to Us Tameron Honda told us our Honda Pilot had "catastrophic engine damage" and was not worth repairing after keeping the car for two days. We almost fell Tameron Honda told us our Honda Pilot had "catastrophic engine damage" and was not worth repairing after keeping the car for two days. We almost fell for it since we were on vacation and needed to get back to Nashville. But we decided to have our car towed to our mechanic in Nashville--Woods Garage--and they were able to fix the problem in two hours for a couple of hundred dollars worth of labor and parts! Tameron thus forced us to (a) lose lots of time on vacation, (b) have our car towed from Birmingham to Nashville, (c) almost buy a new car when our car was easily repaired. Not surprisingly, after calling them many times and leaving countless messages, not one person from Tameron has returned our calls. More
New car purchase I talked to two different salesmen and neither would give me their best price. I told them I'd gone to other dealers and wanted the best price from e I talked to two different salesmen and neither would give me their best price. I told them I'd gone to other dealers and wanted the best price from each so that I would know where to actually buy the car from because we don't like haggling with car salesmen. They wouldn't give me their best and got very rude. They told me to give them the prices from the other places and they would beat it. I told them that wouldn't be fair because the other lots didn't have their number when they gave me their best price. They were both very rude. And to think I was going to be giving them my hard earned cash for a car. I think not! I will purchase elsewhere. The sad part is I'd purchased from them in the past but obviously customer service one of this dealerships strong points. I will be purchasing (with cash) this afternoon and taking home my 2016 Honda from another dealer and never walking back on this lot again! More
