Received an email for my recently purchased 2024 Ridgeline that it was due to have recall work completed. I made an appt online explaining that I was needing the stated recall work completed. I received multiple text reminders from the dealership saying they were ready for me and not to forget my appointment. When I arrived, however, I let the service advisor know I was there for my appointment and recall work. The advisor said “what recall work?” and I had to find the email and tell the advisor what was needed. They then proceeded to tell me that not only did they NOT have the parts for the recall, but that I should have called them. WTH? Why did they (1) accept my appt and then (2) keep in touch about it when they didn’t even have the parts??? Talk about poor customer service for a brand new customer! This was an unacceptable waste of my time. Now I’m really wondering if I purchased by new truck from the right dealer. More
