For the first time in my life, I wanted a car just for me. Not a vehicle to safely transport my daughter, not a vehicle to meet my needs for work, and not a vehicle that I had to settle for because of a me. I had ridden in a friend's MINI and was pleased at how much room it had. So, I looked on the websites for the dealerships in the area and found that NW Mini was practically in my back yard. With great excitement I drove to the dealership and was introduced to Steve. He geniunely listened first to what I had to say, not trying to sell me anything. He then told me about the Mini, its history, its great features, and how much he loved the car. I was impressed by his knowledge of the car, his attention to detail and his honest answers. I also loved his sense of humor. I never felt pressured which I have experienced before in buying cars. Instead I left with a great car, a great experience and the knowledge that if I have any questions, Steve will still be there to answer them. More

This was my first Mini but it probably won't be my last! I love Northwest Mini! After unsuccessfully trying to buy a Subaru and having to deal with the underhanded and pushy sales techniques of those last! I love Northwest Mini! There's no pressure here. They let you browse as long as you want and don't hassle you. I came in to test drive a used, barebones Cooper S, but Rocky let me test drive a brand new JCW anyway. Turns out that was the car I fell in love with and eventually purchased. I love that they don't discriminate their potential buyers and really do care about putting someone in a car that's perfect for them. The buying process was straightforward and easy. Rocky was super cool and easy to work with. I love my MINI!!!! More

My wife and I visited NW Mini on our aniversary. We had been shopping for gas saving options and we came to the Mini store last. This may not seem like anyones idea of an aniversary well spent but it turne been shopping for gas saving options and we came to the Mini store last. This may not seem like anyones idea of an aniversary well spent but it turned out to be one of our most memorable. As we looked around we were greeted in the lot by Steve Zilkey. He was very personable and genuine. Anyone who has shopped for a car will relate when I say that the multiplicity of choices, as you are standing there in front of them, can be overwhelming. As we were pondering prospects, Steve asked questions that really helped dial us in on what we wanted from a gas saver. He was very adept at breaking down for us what might work for our needs. Once we started to zero in on a particular model, all that was left was picking colors. After that we were struck by what came across as Steves real love for the Mini as he explained for us all of its functions and features. We ended up spending half of our day at the Mini dealership and much of that time with Steve. We never felt pressured, we never were assailed by that toe tapping fidgety need to get the process over with and get out of there feeling (something I have been afflicted with at least a time or two in the past). In fact, after touring the facility and meeting with Brad, the finance guy , we really felt like it will be nothing but pleasurable to bring our new aquisition in for its required services. We had an amazing car purchasing experience at Northwest Mini. Steve is a no pressure sales rep. He is passionate about Mini's and it shows. He even took us to the roof and waded through the puddles to make sure we knew all our options. Once we made our decision on a 2013 Countryman S All wheel, he search for the perfect color at other dealers. The financing was quick and easy. We were out the door in less than an hour in our new car. I would highly recommend this dealership for anyone looking for a Mini. More

He puts no pressure on his clients, answers all questions and concerns with lots of practical knowledge and follows through on what he says he will do. Even if you didn't have a great referral fee, we would still recommend NW Mini to all our friends. This is our second Mini purchase with you, and the differences are astounding. This is the 2nd mini I purchased from Rocky. When I decided to order the Clubman Rocky was again great in answering all questions and very helpful in assisting me in the many choices I made. I felt very comfortable through the whole process. On 23 July 2013 my husband and myself were finally able to meet Rocky when we arrived to drive our new custom Clubman home. Rocky was very patient and thorough explaining many details of the car to us. The whole process was seamless and stress free. Kudos also go to Brad in finance and Graham in service. Motoring Advisor, Mark Sandau After many years of admiring Mini Coopers from a distance, my wife and I visited Northwest Mini for the first time. Motoring Advisor, Mark Sandau, who was very welcoming, greeted us and offered to show us around. Initially, we were considering buying a used Mini, so Mark answered all our questions, gave us a tour of all the models we were interested in, and never attempted to divert our attention to any of the new models. This was a refreshing change from what we have experienced at other dealerships. After looking at the used models, we asked to look at the new models. Again, Mark knew exactly what was in stock, and where each model was located, and patiently answered our many questions. At no time during our visit did we feel pressured to buy, or even take test drive. My wife knew she wanted a Clubman, and quickly found her favorite color. I however, was torn between two Hardtops: British Racing Green II, and Lightning Blue. We took a test ride in the green Mini, and I fell in love right away with the car, but after much internal debate realized that Lightning Blue version was the one for me; the more I looked at it the more it spoke to me. With our choices made, Mark returned with an offer for our trade-ins. Once again, he exceeded our expectations by offering a very fair deal on the two cars. In years past we have dealt with dealerships, which confront us with horrible trade-in offers, then the back-and-forth with this manager, or that boss… What a refreshing change! None of that nonsense, just a straight forward good deal benefiting both parties. Then I found out my favorite blue Mini had 400 miles on it already-- my heart sank. Having worked in transportation, I know the importance of the break-in period on a new cars motor. This is where Mark’s professionalism really shined through. While I was… mildly freaking out— having him check other dealerships for another blue Hardtop without 400 miles logged, never once did Mark attempt to pressure me into something I did not want. It was now after closing, and he phoned other dealerships, checked inventories, and in the end, the one with 400 miles was all that remained. We took it for a spin around the block; like the green model, I fell in love with the car, but was still on the fence. Mark greeted us upon our return with the same easy-going mannerism, and professional attitude, again without pressuring us into anything. Mark was the deciding factor for me. To call him the best salesman I’ve encountered, would be selling him short. He truly is an outstanding Motoring Advisor. But wait-- our experience with Northwest Mini’s staff did not end with Mark. Business Manager Diane Steeves was a pure joy to work with. Like Mark, she was very professional, with a genuinely welcoming personality. All the paperwork involved with the purchase of two cars couldn’t have gone smoother. Everything was in order, no hidden surprises, or pressure to purchase any additions. By the time we met with her, we are at least an hour past closing, yet Diane couldn’t have been nicer. She was a real pleasure to work with. Mark and Diane were such great people. They made buying two new cars— something that could have been very stressful— a wonderful experience. My wife and I also wish to acknowledge the gentlemen in the service department who stayed late to clean, and prepare the vehicles for us. Like everyone we met that day at Northwest Mini, they were awesome, and made us feel welcome. Northwest Mini has earned our business for years to come. More
