Used Certified Truck Purchase I was looking to purchase a used 2011/2012 certified Dodge Ram 1500 for my wife. I found one advertised at Sterling Heights Dodge/Jeep near my home i I was looking to purchase a used 2011/2012 certified Dodge Ram 1500 for my wife. I found one advertised at Sterling Heights Dodge/Jeep near my home in Clinton Township. The sales representative that showed me the truck was arrogant, developed an attitude when discussing the overall cost and trade in value of my wife's Lincoln. When I pulled the Car Fax from this perspective truck there was a link to the others in my area off the auto/truck trader. When I learned that Szott's had a 2012 Ram for sale I called and was connected to Brian. From the beginning of our conversation, through the meeting and sales portion of the transaction my wife and I found him to be an outstanding person to do business with. He was personable and provided my wife and I with honest answers to my questions. The other indiviual that we found to be helpful during the transaction was Ron Nakas in the financing department. I was looking for a Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab with a 5.7 Hemi and a Axel Ratio of 3.92 with a towing rate of 10,500lbs. I searched on Truck Finder (Car Finder) for weeks. I called many dealerships with the specifics of the truck I wanted and was given the run around of other trucks of never received a call back. I then came across Szott Dodge which had the Ram i ended up purchasing. Brian and Ron were friendly and honest from the first phone call to the end of the sale. Both gentlemen kept in contact with me from start to finish and even called after the sale was finalized. The day I took the truck home I opened the hood and noticed a few concerns. I called Brian and he assured me that they would take care of the concerns and would partner with Ron. Ron called the next day and had me bring the truck back for service. My wife took the truck in on a Thursday and we had the truck back on Friday. These two gentlemen are stand up guys that live up to their promises.
