The Swope family is Awesome in Elizabethtown Ky. Jim, Nayum and Mary made it a pleasure to work with full filling our wants and needs for our 2020 Camry. The 2019 Camry SE is a beautiful car, it gets great gas mileage, it was the perfect color and Mr. James said the magic words, it was on S A L E. Mr. James was very knowledgeable about our new vehicle and he made our buying experience a breeze. We would definitely buy another vehicle from Mr. James and this dealership. This is our second Toyota that we have purchased from this dealership and each time it has been a success. A Big Thanks to Toyota of Elizabethtown and their Team! ! ! More
An excellent dealership that goes the extra mile! I purchased my new 2019 4Runner here in April from Chuck McIntyre. Chuck has been working there for quite a few years now. I bought my 2006 Tacoma f I purchased my new 2019 4Runner here in April from Chuck McIntyre. Chuck has been working there for quite a few years now. I bought my 2006 Tacoma from him. Chuck is a caring, personable fellow who is an actual enthusiast for Toyota vehicles. I've kept in touch with Chuck over the years. And as I approached buying another Toyota, he was there, ready to show me any vehicle that had my interest. After I decided on a new 4Runner, I then narrowed it down to a specific trim, color, and options. Chuck went to their inventory manager, Donna Hood, to see what was in the region. There was one at a distance. So Donna planned to isolate one for me coming from Japan. However, I really didn't want to wait that long, so I asked if they could do a dealer trade to get the one already in the region. After coming to an agreed dealer trade, my 4Runner arrived at Swope Toyota. I went there after work to pick it up, but first to do a test drive to make sure everything was good. Unfortunately, as I drove it up to highway speeds, I noted a wobble/shimmy in the steering at about 55-65MPH. I called Chuck and told him. He said they'll make it right. So Chuck told Cole Miller, the service manager, what was going on. Cole figured it was the Dunlop tires on the 4Runner, as he had seen this before. The next day, they isolated it to the tires and Chuck let me know they were going to go ahead and replace all 4 tires at their cost (as Toyota corporate tells them to take it up with Dunlop.) I asked that since they are replacing them, if they would use the Michelin Defender LTX specifically, and I would cover the cost difference. Not only did the put on the tires I preferred, they took care of the total cost. The 4Runner is nice and smooth on the road now. The paperwork was a breeze. Chuck McIntyre brought me to Mary Thompson, the F&I manager. Mary remembered me from when I bought the 2006 Tacoma. She had everything ready and we had the papers done in a snap. In the end I bought the vehicle I wanted at a good price. From a dealership with plenty of good folks working there! Thanks again to Chuck, Donna, Cole, and Mary. More

Mary Ellen Thompson in finance was vey helpful in making sure I got the best interest rate. While I was waiting for my car I had a vey good conversation with Lacey Klink. My buying experience was not stressful Lee made sure I was comfortable. Overall I highly recommend Swope Toyota. This was my first time buying from them. My sister has bought 2 vehicles from this dealership and my brother one. I really like my 2019 RAV4. More

Sales people are not persons of their word. I had purchased a vehicle at Swope one other time and the experience was OK but not today. I visited the dealership looking for a truck and they had t I had purchased a vehicle at Swope one other time and the experience was OK but not today. I visited the dealership looking for a truck and they had traded for one earlier that I spoke to the salesman about. He sent me to the detail shop to look at it were I ran into the sales manager. He was not happy the salesman sent me their but allowed me to take a quick glance at it. We both talked to the man in charge of the detail shop and he said he needed at least an hour and 15 minutes to complete. I told the manager at that time I was interested and to let the salesman know and I would return to the dealership in that time to drive it. He shook my hand and said he would. I returned in the alotted time time to find out it had been sold. Someone I feel was not be truthful. There is no way it could have been detailed driven by another customer and a deal closed that quick. I was raised in a time that your word meant something but it seems at this dealership that is not the case. I wouldn't recommend their sales staff to anyone. I believe this would have not been a issue if the sales manager had done his job. This was my last trip to their dealership and I will definitely not recommend them to anyone. More

The first time I stopped by i just wanted to look at the selection of vans. I hoped no one would come out and start selling me anything and they didn't! But when I was ready to talk to someone i just walked in and became informed not sold on the van. My salesman was very informative about the vehicle I was looking at. When I was ready to talk #'s they were still wonderful and I felt no pressure to buy. I finished my experience with finance and again she worked to make the numbers the best possible payment for me. All this was very close to their close time which I didn't realize until it was to late and they never said anything about it. I will definitely tell everyone about my experience and that they should go to this dealership if looking for a new car. More
One thing after another I bought this truck from a local dealer to help support the economy. While I understood that they were moving across the street the week-end after I bought the truck, I assured them to take there time getting it clean and getting in ready. I still had a car and was just wanting things done right. It took two times to get the truck cleaned (over a week) in a way that mud was not covering the bottom, the engine was clean the the inside was detailed. The detail manager thought I was picky. After a couple of days, I called due to a shimmy in the transmission while shifting in overdrive, that was handled well. Although, I am not sure tires have too much to do with a shimmy at one speed, but not at higher speeds. While waiting over a month, I started to wonder why I did not have a title or the registration for the truck. We pay document fees now, so I was expecting both within a month. Well I called on the title and that is really up to the state timelines, so I am waiting for up to 60 days for that. I called again and talked to the business department and asked about the registration for the car. Another wait due to mistake as to where the payoff was made from the previous owner. I am not sure why the consumer has to pay for documents that are within Swopes control to treat those documents as not important. I was told, I would just have to wait cause they made a mistake. It is in the details for me, and I am very apprehensive now about the care they took to do the mechanical checks on the truck I bought. Espeically given, the lack of concern about cleaning it and getting documents done efficienty and done right. Please think twice about this dealership, they have very poor customer service, they do not work as thought they care or that your experience matters. More
