Not very helpful when you have issues Purchased a 2009 Dodge Journey from them. Owned it for about 3 months and only had the vehicle in my posession about 20+ days out of the 3 months when Purchased a 2009 Dodge Journey from them. Owned it for about 3 months and only had the vehicle in my posession about 20+ days out of the 3 months when I finally got them to buy it back from me. The rest of the time it was being worked on there. Had multiple electronic issues. Funny thing was they assured me when I bought it, that it was only ever worked on at their dealerahip. I am very knowledgeable when it comes to cars and I found a "patch" in an electrical wire under the hood where someone had spliced in a fuse running off the battery. They "didn't know anything about it. The sales manager (Russ) was extremely rude and not very understanding about the fact I spent about $14k and barely got to drive it. On top of that they put us in a PT cruiser for our first rental, then a Pontiac SUV, that we had to drive down 1 hour to give back, and then finally another Journey. At least they could've tried for a comparable vehicle to start. More

However, it did help provide me with a better idea of what I was looking for. So I went out to AutoTrader. Found several trucks that I liked and was about to buy one but it got sold out from under me. It was probably meant to be because the truck was located in Iowa and I'm in Kentucky. So, it would have been a long haul to get this thing. I kept looking on AutoTrader and eventually Robert Smiley, the salesman I test drove vehicles with at Swope called me back. I didn't lie. I told him what I was doing. He understood but told me he could arrange to get exactly what I wanted if I gave him the list of options I wanted on the truck. He hooked me up with another fellow and within one day after providing the list they got me the exact color, with low miles, more than 90% of the options I wanted on the truck and right around the price range I was looking at. I felt the price was very fair considering all the trucks I had been looking at on AutoTrader with all the options I wanted. And, I only had to drive 12 miles down the road to get it! Thank you Robert and Russ at Swope Chrysler Dodge! By the way, Robert got me to drive a Dodge Ram Big Horn 1500. I bought a 2015 ram 3500 Laramie longhorn addition very beautiful and loaded and at a descent price and the guys who made it happen was very polite and professional. overall a great day, the only thing I have a complaint about was what I would call false advertisement and what I mean is every where I read in the show room, on line, not sure about commercials free 24 month or 2 year maintenance agreement on EVERY PURCHASE it didn't say except diesels. but was told that the deal didn't include diesel trucks after all the paperwork was signed needless to say I was disappointed. it wasn't a deal breaker but I will ask more questions before I sign next time.
