Check engine light on vacation Had a check engine light when on vacation. Checked for nearest dealership and called to make an appointment to have truck fixed. Talked with Deb at Swantys of Bullhead City and told her the situation and she got me right in. I was towing a trailer and Deb had a spot to put it while they worked on my truck. Deb had got back to me in less than thirty minutes of what was wrong and was going to replace bad heater grid. Hour later technician Jay came out and explained what was wrong with truck and that it was fixed and Deb was handling paperwork and we could be on our way. More

The Great Scam I received a letter with 2 coupons in the mail. The letterhead said CHA-CHING. Here’s your oil change coupon! Further it said my Jeep needed to change I received a letter with 2 coupons in the mail. The letterhead said CHA-CHING. Here’s your oil change coupon! Further it said my Jeep needed to change engine oil. One coupon was for oil and filter change $44.95, the other for multi point inspection free. I’m an 80 year old woman and the arrogant man at the counter asked what I wanted done to my car. I thought it was customary to go by the book. I only have 30,000 miles and it’s been serviced? By Swanty every 5,000. I don’t do under the hood work. It has been my experience when I get a coupon for anything it’s going to pay for whatever it says. It turns out once the work is done Swantys informs you that’s how much you pay for the oil change instead of the coupon paying for it! There are more friendly, knowledgeable, honest auto service places in this town and Swantys has seen me for the last time! More
