Bought 4 NEW vehicles from this place and been dealing with them for 15 yrs. Today, "Deb", service writer verbally treated me like my business did not matter. My 2014 Jeep with only 11,900 miles on it si with them for 15 yrs. Today, "Deb", service writer verbally treated me like my business did not matter. My 2014 Jeep with only 11,900 miles on it since I bought it NEW had the key stick in the ignition two weeks ago. I took it in right away and the mechanic tried everything to get it out and finally determined the complete ignition module had to be replaced at a cost of $505.00 for the part and estimated 4 hrs. labor. Basically a $1000.00 stuck key situation. I had no choice but to approve the repair. Seven hours after I left it I got a call from "DEB" asking if I had another key because the key in the Jeep was "bent". I said it was NOT bent when I took it in it was only STUCK and I had not tried to force it at all just to avoid such a thing. She insisted it was bent by me and not during the repair process and if I did not have another key I would have to buy another one. When I strongly objected she got nasty and said, "you brought it to us broke!" "it's your car your key!!" I ran a company locally with 40 dodge vans transporting passengers and took every repair to this dealership for 7 years and this is how I get treated! She is and has been rude every since she replaced a wonderful service writer that retired about 4 years prior. She is said to be FRIENDS with a female that owns the dealership and as such is "untouchable"! This employee should NOT be in such a position and if you take your vehicle there use one of the other service writers. I will NEVER buy another NEW car from them again. I will drive into Vegas just to avoid this place going forward. They do not deserve even ONE star. Ownership folks fix your glaring problem in the service department. I had earlier in the day, before this incident, called Daimler Chrysler asking them to possibly help me with some of the repair costs and made it clear I had no issue with the dealership at all but was concerned the ignition failed. NOW, I am wondering if this "DEB", who said "I saw the complaint in the computer" thinks I complained about THEM so now wants to make it look as if I BENT THE KEY and that was the ignition issue in the first place. I believe the key was damaged during the repair efforts the mechanic used to get the key out of the Ignition system. As I told her, "It is just as likely they damaged the key as it is they think it is my fault." Again, DON'T THINK YOU WILL GET ANY DECENT ATTITUDE FROM THE SERVICE WRITER IF YOU USE HER. Yes I'm pissed to think after all my confidence in this dealership I get treated as if this whole issue was my fault. More
