My husband David Marr and I (Ilona Marr) were pleased with the customer service received from Joe Vizzi as well as his friendlines when we came into the dealership looking to purchase a used Honda Odyess with the customer service received from Joe Vizzi as well as his friendlines when we came into the dealership looking to purchase a used Honda Odyessy. I was forced into buying a new car, as my son crashed and totaled my 2001 Accord (212,00 miles) last week. Thank God he walked away without a scratch on him. I've been driving Hondas since 1990 and am a big fan of them. My first was a 1990 Accord that had 150,000 miles on it when I traded it in for my 2001 Accord. That car had 212,000 miles on it when the accident occurred. So, we obviously keep our cars as long as we can. As I was not in the market for a new car, until the accident, I wasn't looking forward to spending all this money. We had just finished paying off a 5 year car loan in January and were looking forward to seeing that money go into our savings account. So, I was kind of car shopping with a semi-depressed state of mind. My heart wasn't really in it. I am a AAA member and was looking to find the best AAA discount dealer that is advertised in the monthly AAA magazine. I started at Middletown Honda, who is not a AAA dealer but said that they would match the AAA discount. They offered me a decent deal. I then drove to Pougkeepsie, NY to Friendly Honda (who is affiliated with AAA) and surprisingly, did not give me a great AAA discount at all.....and they didn't have the car I wanted in stock, yet they were pressuring me to leave a down payment for a car I had yet to test drive! At this point Middletown Honda gave a better price than the AAA dealer! In the meantime, the garage mechanic that towed my car mentioned Sussix Honda, saying that he heard that they give pretty good deals. I researched them online, found that they had the car I wanted (Accord Coupe EX-L) and called the dealership. I spoke with Eileen Steele ( who was very friendly, low pressure and very down-to-Earth) and she offered me a deal that was $1100.00 below my best deal from Middletown Honda! IT was almost too good to be true! I told her that when my wife got home from work we would be taking a drive to Sussix Honda. So we headed to Newton, NJ and met Eileen face to face. She was as pleasant in person as she was on the phone. My wife and I were so comfortable with her. We had actually made our deal over the phone, and now just had to sign the papers. I told Eileen and her boss that in 30 + years of buying cars, this was the absolute BEST car buying experience I've ever had. I feel that this was also the best deal I've ever gotten on a car. I would highly recommend Sussix Honda and especially Eileen Steele to anyone interested in purchasing a Honda automobile. More
I was a differcult coustomer, changed the vehicle I requested after there was very good deal made. Still they were very accommodating and gave me a great deal on another vehicle. I was beyond stressed. I was recently involved in a car accident on March 06, 2012. My Toyota, was totaled because a driver who wasn’t paying attention more than rear ended me. I had visited another Honda accident on March 06, 2012. My Toyota, was totaled because a driver who wasn’t paying attention more than rear ended me. I had visited another Honda dealer before I visited Sussex Honda. All I got was a sales pitch. They didn’t care about my needs they just wanted to get a sale. They brought me the car that they thought was perfect for me. I left feeling disappointed and lost. After being in a traumatic experience such as a car accident, you look for caring individuals that can meet your needs. I decided to take another look at where Gary worked remembering the positive experience I had the last time I went there. When I finally got there I told Gary what happened and he understood and offered to do whatever it took to help me get into a car as soon as possible. He didn’t bring me a car that he felt suited me, he let me choose my perfect car and made sure that I left that day with the car that I wanted. It felt good knowing that there was an individual who didn’t care about making a sale that day. He just cared about my needs and getting me back on the road. I first met Joe Vizzi when I leased a 2010 Insight three years ago. He was knowledgeable, straightforward and sensitive to my concerns at the time, and as such, I returned to purchase a 2012 CR-V. We received an offer to turn in our 2009 Accord leased from Sussex. We knew what vehicle we wanted, and the price we were willing to pay.
