My buying experience was both pleasant and smooth. My salesperson , Eileen, was very friendly and made me feel at ease. As a senior citizen buying a new car, the experience could have been stressful but salesperson , Eileen, was very friendly and made me feel at ease. As a senior citizen buying a new car, the experience could have been stressful but it was just the opposite. Eileen was very knowledgable about the car and answered all my questions promptly and completely. I would definitely recommend Sussex Honda and Eileen to anyone looking to purchase a Honda. More

I have been buying Hondas for many years. I used to work 65 miles from home (I retired 3 months ago.) and needed a reliable car. Hondas always proved that reliability. Now I know that they are not only re 65 miles from home (I retired 3 months ago.) and needed a reliable car. Hondas always proved that reliability. Now I know that they are not only reliable, but any claims about the safety of the Honda CR-V are also correct. In addition, Sussex Honda , and Chris Romain in particular, make the process of buying a car as easy as possible, even in complicated circumstances. In February, 2013, I bought a new CR-V from Honda with Chris as my salesperson. I was trading in another CR-v and had looked up the value prior to going to the dealership. They gave me the value of the trade that I expected with no hassle at all. For the first time in a long time, I financed the car rather than buying it outright. The Finance Officer and Chris made that process very easy, explaining the myriad choices to be made (e.g. Length of the loan, direct deposit or billing, etc) in plain English. Although I was sure that I wouldn't need it, I also got GAP coverage and Total Loss Protection. Those coverages apply if the car is totaled within the first year ( with some other requirements). As it turned out, I am very glad I did get those coverages. On August 7th, I fell asleep while driving and hit a utility pole. The airbags deployed, but other than that, although the exterior damages were enough to total the car, I walked away with a few bruises only........and considered myself very lucky ( although I attribute that "luck" to the Honda CR-V.). The insurance company that I am working with also made the ensuring claim process as easy as possible. Once I got the official word that the car was a total loss, I went to Sussex Honda to get another CR-V. When I spoke to Chris, he said, " Don't worry about a thing. We'll get you another car( which I had the next day!) and we'll help you with understanding and meeting all of the requirements of the various coverages." The requirements for the Total Loss Protection ( TLP) in particular are very complex.....approximately 12 different documents are needed. Together, Chris and I pulled together as many of those documents as we could that very first day. Chris called the insurance company to get the documents needed from them. He also contacted the TLP person to coordinate getting all of the requirements to her. On top of all of this, I was leaving for a week of vacation the next day. Chris said that he would keep everything moving while I was gone. I am writing this while on that vacation. If not for Chris and Sussex Honda, I might not have even been able to leave for this vacation. At the very least, I would have been worried the entire time about what I had to do to complete the requirements to exercise these coverages, but with Chris handling it, I'm not worried at all. And I will be buying all of my future cars from Chris at Sussex Honda. My great thanks to Chris Romain! More

Eileen Kelly-Steele is by far one of the best car salesmen I have worked with. So many times there is a negative stereo-type for car salesman but Eileen is not your typical salesman. She is a woman salesmen I have worked with. So many times there is a negative stereo-type for car salesman but Eileen is not your typical salesman. She is a woman of integrity and honesty; she never pressured me to buy but gave me the information that my husband and I needed to make our decision. This is the 3rd time I have purchased a car from Sussex Honda and the 2nd time Eileen has sold us a car. We moved to Mt. Bethel, PA and there is another car dealer that is much closer to our home but we went back to Sussex Honda because of Eileen. I have already referred my dad to her if he decides to purchase a Honda and I rarely refer people unless I am confident that my referral will ultimately make my family and friends satisfied. More

Joe kept me Informed every step of the way. I know I wouldn't have my new blue EV with out Joe's perseverance and help. Funny thing it's blue, all my cars blue. Thank you Honda for only making it in my color. What are the odds. :-) More

The salesman Kevin, was what you would want when buying a car from a dealer. I would recommend him, He was very courteous, answered almost everything we wanted to know, didn't mind bringing out a different c car from a dealer. I would recommend him, He was very courteous, answered almost everything we wanted to know, didn't mind bringing out a different car for us to see. He was the reason we purchased from Newton Honda. The car could have used another quick clean-up, but I'll do that. The only problems came about when and after I picked up the car. Trade-In value and price had been determined and agreed on paid in full with cash. The extended warranty price and terms were also agreed on $1,700 to be financed over 12 months no interest . My wife and I showed up with the cash for the sale including a deposit of $500 for the warranty, gave the cash for the car, then told it would cost an extra $100 for the 12 months no interest on the $1,200 balance. The navigation system was not up-graded to the current maps, but I kept hearing it had the Honda 190 point inspection, now it will cost me another $250.00 for the DVD. The XM satellite 90 day subscription was not started until I made half a dozen calls to the dealership to get it connected. More
