Worth the Trip to Sussex County to Buy a Honda CRV After receiving a solid offer via the Internet I found a friendly reception when I arrived in person. The receptionist smiled, asked how she could help, and immediately made telephone contact with the Internet person I had talked to. She directed me to Gary Zinn, and the introduction to the requested Honda CRV began. Gary gave me a comprehensive tour of the car's exterior amenities before entering the car. He then went through an extensive description of the car's options and demonstrated same (and there are lots of them). During his description Gary was quick to recognize my confused looks, and revisited and further explained to clear up my confusion. We then went on a test drive giving me opportunities to test out the many options. After the test drive we returned to Gary's station and we began the negotiation to a successful conclusion. I returned two days later to receive the car. At that time Gary spent well over an hour running through the various options during which he paired my phone with the car's Bluetooth. At the end I felt ready for the drive home. I've bought many cars before, but Gary was at the top of the mix. More

But eventually, direct contact with the actual vehicle is critical. A dealer and salesman who will accomodate this process with patience are not the norm. A dealer's default position is to encourage a quick decision so that they lock up the sale. But we found Sussex Honda and, especially, Peter Fetz willing to work with us patiently and without undue pressure while we came to a decision. I think we visited and test-drove four or five times, and they were never less than helpful. More
