I recently purchased a 2011 Honda Crv through Joe Vizzi at Sussex Honda, without being hassled or pressured. I believe I was treated fairly. Sold me a warrantee which was presented as 120,000 mile warranty, when I received the information it was only a 100,000 mile warranty. Sales Department was supposed to issue the woman who referred me there a cheque for $50.00 referral fee, later we found out that one of the service technicians took her cheque. SHE STILL NEVER GOT THE $50.00 Car deveoped problems w the IMA battery. Burning smell and throwing IMA code errors. Dealer refused to replace battery, instead applying a "software update" which essentially made the vehicle no longer use the IMA hybrid battery anymore so vehicle will limp along on a compromised battery until out of warrantee. MPG went from 48MPG to 34MPG. I went to trade in the vehicle and found out that the car was in an ACCIDENT BEFORE I bought it. Becasue of this I lost $6500 on the car and I had it less than one year. More
Mr. Vizzi listens, assks the right questions and told me the other offer (from another dealer) wouldn't come threw. my first phone call to sussex honda was answered by feliks samiter. he made me feel so confident that i would be getting the best deal he was the only dealer i spoke to, although i was getting calls fr feliks samiter. he made me feel so confident that i would be getting the best deal he was the only dealer i spoke to, although i was getting calls from other dealerships. i was buying my car from him. when i went to the dealership, feliks wasn't able to help me because he was swamped. joe vizzi stepped in. i have never in all my driving life, i'm 65 yrs, had a salesman as wonderful as joe. he went over everything with me. he took me around the dealership and introduced me to the people in service and a tour of the facility. he made me a terrific deal and wouldn't let me leave without taking me to my honda fit explaining everything in my car. there was no pressure and it felt like i've know him for years. then he intoduced me to a.j. for the extended warranty. again, i was put at ease and everything was explained to me, encouraging questions i might have. i did take the platinum warranty. joe called me today to ask if i had a problem driving home. no salesman has ever done that for me. you have found 3 men who are so professional, but so personable. i will recommend sussex honda to anyone looking for a car. what a wonderful experience. oh, and he kept offering me coffee, which was appreciated! It is not surprising to my fiancee and I that many of the reviews on this site have to do with sales person Joe Vizzi. This is the only car buying experience we both have ever had where we walked away from reviews on this site have to do with sales person Joe Vizzi. This is the only car buying experience we both have ever had where we walked away from the dealership knowing for sure we would tell anyone and everyone we know who might be interested in buying a car- that they should speak with Joe. We both felt that Joe was not only professional and courteous but more importantly- that he was fair. I was turning in a Honda Civic lease which I was both over my miles on as well as had 'wear and tear' on--- basically, not in the best position. Further, my credit is not perfect and I was interested in getting into a new 4 door car because we will soon have a new addition to our family. Joe did everything he could to make sure we got awesome financing terms and the whole transaction could not have been smoother. We were literally 'in and out' of the dealership having accomplished the whole transaction in two quick visits that together totaled under an hour never having felt like we were not taken care of. Our second visit to the dealership was to pick up the car and finish the transaction on a very busy Saturday- Joe was busy but still devoted ample time to make sure we had all of our questions answered and were completely comfortable driving away in our new 2010 Honda Fit. When it comes to your typical 'car salesman' stereotype- visit Joe to see what a true sales person should be and is. Thank you Joe (truly!)- we will come back to you in the future and we will DEFINITELY tell people about you in the meantime. More

I worked with Joe Vizzi for the third time. This time I was turning in a leased Pilot, and downsizing to a Civic. Where to begin? My wife and I spent two weeks being strung along and lied to by the shysters at White Plains Honda in New York. We were thoroughly disgusted with car salesmen and would have given up altogether on dealerships if we had one more slippery, smooth talker who couldn't seem to help but lie and deceive. A random search for Honda Odyssey's within 200 miles of home (we live in Dutchess County, NY) brought us to Joe Vizzi at Sussex Honda. Listed on their internet sales page was a 2007 Honda Odyssey with very low miles and the right options, all reasonably priced. We made arrangements to drive down and take a look (a 5 hour round trip. Before hitting the road, we gave Joe fair warning that if he pulled any bull**** we would make a very uncomfortable scene on account of recent bad experience elsewhere. He assured us that customer service was the absolute foundation of their business and that we would be treated fairly and dealt with in a forthright manner. I had my doubts. When we arrived, Joe and the team at Sussex delivered on every front. IMPECCABLE service. You enter the showroom and the whole set up is designed to make the experience as comfortable and welcoming as possible. They had a nice play/entertainment area for the kids that was genuinely inviting. My two kids actually enjoyed being there while my wife and I worked out the details of the purchase. There was no typical car salesman gimmicks and chicanery, only genuine, honest people who know that the Honda brand sells itself but what makes the deal is service. Service and stand up, no BS salesman like Joe Vizzi. Thanks also to White Plains Honda for thoroughly xxxxxxx so badly. Otherwise, we might not have found Sussex Honda and Joe! We will gladly travel the 5 hour round trip there each time we need to buy a vehicle and we have already recommended them to all of our friends and associates. Well done. I am recently divorced with a poor credit rating so I knew helping me would be a Big challenge. Along comes Joe Vizzi to my rescue! Joe spent many hours trying to get me into the car I had chosen. He kept me aware of what was going on and was always optimistic that my deal would be approved. He was right!!! I drove away with my new car really feeling Joe put 100% into helping me. He was amazing and I couldn't be happier with the service at Sussex Honda-I would highly reccommend them to all my friends and family. If there is a way to make you happy Joe and Sussex Honda will find it! I also want to applaud the finance manager for working his magic. My experience couldn't have been better-thanks Joe!!! More
