I don't like to make a habit of it, but I have been in or have participated in five separate car buying transactions at this dealership. And every single time, I've had the pleasure of dealing with the sales have participated in five separate car buying transactions at this dealership. And every single time, I've had the pleasure of dealing with the salesman Ken Brandt. If you've ever purchased a car from him, you'd see why. He is always very respectful and courteous, never tries to pressure the clients, and is always willing to work with the customer. Between my family and extended family, we purchased 3 new and 2 pre-owned vehicles through him over the past 6 years. I've had mixed experiences when it came to the business/loan office after the sale is made. I probably felt a bit pressured twice when they tried to push the extended warranties and other add-on insurances. The other times and the last time, I didn't feel pressured at all. My latest purchase there was a pre-owned model of a different make. In terms of pricing for pre-owned cars, they tend to mark them up pretty high initially. For the pre-owned vehicles we bought, they already had their initial price reduced. We negotiated down to even lower prices from the reduced sale price. The final prices we paid were right about retail fair market value for those cars in their great condition. If you plan on trading in a vehicle here, don't expect a high offer unless it's something they can potentially sell off their lot; the vehicle being traded should have low miles, no accidents, a flawless body, and good care. I have no complaints with their service department. For a dealership, their labor rate isn't outrageous. They recommend scheduled maintenance services only if they are due, not way before they're due. Whenever they're offered, I usually decline because I do most of the maintenance myself. While the parts are a little bit on the pricey side, the parts counter attendants have always been great. If you live near northwest NJ and are shopping for a Honda, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ken to anyone. I do find it unfortunate that as much as I like buying from him, I do not like the direction Honda is headed with their product line. If Honda can be the company they were in the '90s and early millennium again; or if Ken sells the next make and model I happen to be shopping for in a few years, my next car buying choice will be very easy. I was on a hunt for a new car that was low priced, great mileage and good quaility. I know it was alot to ask for in a car but Joe Vizzi was with me through it all. He came up with plenty of options for me but I really wanted a Honda Fit with a manual transmission and one was not available. I shopped four more dealers for different vehicles and decided on another car because of price. I let Joe know this and he thanked me but said he was sure he could still help. Joe looked around some more and called me to come in and speak about other financing options. It was at this time that I decided to bring my husband along since I was the scout for the car and he was going to be the main driver. John took the Honda Fit for a drive and really loved it but again there wasn't a manual transmission to drive. Joe took a look around and found a red 2012 Honda Fit coming in so we placed a deposit. It was just a few days until the car arrived but we could not make it there until the weekend. Joe said no problem, we arrived on Saturday, 10 am, the car was ready, paperwork was ready, tank was full and it was a truly easy experience. Joe gave us the complete tour of Honda so we will be comfortable with our future service at the dealership. Joe was nothing but a pleasure to deal with in my car purchase. Just so you know, I don't like purchasing cars, I always feel like it is a game but Joe was up front, honest and caring. I look forward to future dealings with him. P.S.
