This is for any people, who still trust Surf City Nissan In Huntington Beach and its Service Center. From my experience in July 2022, DON’T TRUST THEM. I almost got into a car accident because they botched my car and I had an asthma attack (that almost took my life) that night. None of them took responsibility for botching my car and is currently ignoring me. Therefore, I’m making it my mission to be heard. ========= If I could give negative stars, I would. I DON'T RECOMMEND ANYBODY TO USE SURF CITY NISSAN'S SERVICE CENTER. During hard and trying times, I guess anybody will come after you. Even when you use your vehicle to transport people to medical appointments. I trusted them throughout the years (even though they're not that great and miss little things here and there). But recently, I have lost total trust in them when they gave me my car back with missing screws and screw caps, damaged my oil cap, and cut one of my tubes (and not even trying to fix it and/or reconnect it back)... and... they've tried to have me change my transmission (after they botched my car). They didn't even tell me that they messed up my car, damaged my transmission (either purposely or accidentally. I have a strong feeling that it’s purposely because they keep on pushing me to change my transmission), missed parts, etc. ====== UPDATE ON MY SITUATION…. All of the stress with Surf City Nissan had caused me to have asthma attacks that I didn’t know about until I went to the doctor (my childhood asthma became a slow-to-progressive full blown attack without me knowing). My car is currently not safe to drive. The gas pedal keeps on depressing without any acceleration (all out of the blue). My car was the only vehicle and most reliable/easy mode of transportation to take my mom to her procedures and doctor’s appointments. We’re trying to get my car fixed for next week = her transplant appointment with all the people and teams involved for her transplant. With my current situation and using families’ cars (that are difficult for her to ambulate into/onto). In addition, she’s been having problems with her dialysis graft due to the stress of my car problems; and she’s been holding off taking her to doctor’s appointments to check it out because she’s not comfortable in any other vehicle (but mine). I’ve been using a family’s vehicle and she’s been tired after every trip and in and out of the vehicle. Surf City Nissan has been quiet after stating that they’re only willing to cover the labor costs and charge me all parts’ costs. Nissan Corporate is willing to only cover parts and transmission fluids but not labor costs. Outside auto repair shops have informed me that my car is still too new for them to order the specific transmission for my car. More

Although after you enter all that info (used fake info) they ask you to speak your street name and it just keeps asking you until you hang up. Called the other number and a rude sales guy picked up. Told him hey I got this thing in the mail can you remove me and all he wanted was more of my info. Super shady dealer, would be very comfortable buying from them. Beware of scamer tactics More
Bunch of crooks, working in this place, I got scammed and got an apology from anyone. They would make sign at any cost, long story short, my sister when there to buy a car, since her credit is not good she was asked to get a Co-signer my sister called me asking me if I could help her out, I said yes, I got a call from this dealer asking me for my info, I wasn’t sure about the whole deal so when I was asked for the interest rate the woman on the phone said don’t worry about the numbers look great, but she needs $2500 down, I was still wandering about the interest rate plus they told my sister to give back her car to the bank, knowing how crazy and huge damage that could’ve cost her, she wanted to trade in her car but since it wasn’t cost Affective for them they wanted her to just give it back even though they a sure her they could take her car as a trade in. Before I knew it I was the only buyer when I found out I was like no way!!! That’s not the deal how could o be the owner when I’m not even there I live 3000 miles away from CA, long story short these crooks opened an account on my name for $2500 without my Consent I found out when my credit app notified me and. Not only they opened the account they cash it all out, affected my credit, I took a plane from Philadelphia to California to talk to someone face to face, when I did the Supposed to be manager Couldn’t give me a right answer just blaming the lady that do all the paperwork saying that she wasn’t even there at the moment and he needed to have more to the story. I opened a claim through the Business bureau administration and credit bureaus. This asho*%# never called me not apologized watch out they would lie to their core! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE THEY KNOW WHO I AM IF THEY DONT LIKE THIS REVIEW THEY CAN CALL ME ANYTIME!!! More

Advisor was Danny G and he gave excellent service! He was able to get me in the same day and shuttle me to and from work without any inconvenience! Worst experience ever! Went in there with an okay almost good credit had a truck then i trade it in for a newer one. After the trade in i was still getting charged for the first one which i had already trad good credit had a truck then i trade it in for a newer one. I would go and call to see what was wrong all they would tell me to "ignore it" 3 months passed I found out they never sent the check for the first truck so it was still open on my credit which it totally ruined it !! I went to that dealer on 12/15/2019 and purchased a Nissan Leaf SL PLUS and signed the contract. We were waiting for some money coming from Replace your Ride Program to be able to pick up the car.I called them couple of times to make sure that everything is on the right track, and every time they confirmed that the car is on hold for me, and THEY CAN NOT SOLD IT WITHOUT LETTING ME KNOW. The last time I spoke to them was on Wednesday 01/29/2020 and spoke to couple of people there and they confirmed that the car is on hold for me. On Monday, 02/03/2020 when the money came, they told Replace your Ride representative that they sold the car a week before. I was not informed about that though I have a signed contract with them. I called the place many times to see what happened, but they lie every time I call. I leave a message to the finance department and to the general manager, but they live in another world and they never return the calls. The whole experience is so bad, and I really warn everyone before going to that place. I can not believe Nissan is risking their name with such place. Now I am without the car because I simply trusted this filthy dealership. More
Brought my car in for an oil change and now it is not drivab Worst experience of my life! I took my car in two weeks ago for a routine oil change and tire rotation because I had an out of town trip scheduled for the same day to drive to San Francisco. After getting my oil changed, I got on the highway and within minutes my steering wheel started shaking aggressively after exceeding 60 miles per hour. I immediately returned to the dealership and they looked at it and said I needed to replace my wheel bearing. This is not an issue I ever had before getting my oil change and tires rotated and was never mentioned after my oil change (the documentation stated no issues with my car). Due to my car being damaged by Surf City Nissan, I had to rent a car to go on my out of town trip. When I returned to town on Monday of this week, I went back to Surf City Nissan so they can look at my car and hopefully fix what was damaged. After looking at my car, they stated I needed a wheel bearing for sure (even though I didn't need one before coming to this shop) and that it would cost over $400 to fix. I work on cars for fun and know there are warning signs before your wheel bearing goes bad which I had none. I asked to speak to the Service manager. She was a very rude and condescending woman and attempted to talk over me instead of letting me speak. I am a business professional who works hard and was talked to like a piece of crap. I was told by the service manager (with a smirk on her aging face), that I only had two options: I could either leave my car here today and pay over $400 to get fixed or I could come back another time and pay over $400 to get an issue fixed I never had before coming to Surf City Nissan! I am writing this review so no one else must endure the nightmare I went through with this scam Dealership. It’s been almost two weeks and my car is currently not drivable and I have to uber everywhere I go. The only good part of this dealership is Daisy in the service department who does an amazing job. Do not be followed by the countless face reviews Surf City Nissan has. I currently have a compliant open against Surf City Nissan with the Bureau of Automotive Repair. If they don’t do the honest thing and fix my car to the condition it was before getting serviced, my lawyer and I are prepared to seek legal action. Do not bring your car to this scam shop or you will regret it! More

I recently took my car in for the 3rd oil change and the new dealer would not honor it because "we are a new dealer". However,they said, we can give you an oil change for $69.95. I put very few miles on my car and the sticker said to bring it back at 12,000+ miles. The car had not reached 12,000 miles yet! They did not budge so they just lost a customer and my rating is poor---never to return the this new dealership again! More
