We scheduled a same-day appointment just for a quick look (nothing expected). Not only was I hooked after seeing the room available, Adela & Travis gave me an irrifutable deal. They were honest and empathetic. At a point; because time left faster than expected, Adela transported me to pick up my daughter; UNBELIEVABLE CLIENT SERVICE; EXTRAORDINARILY helpful. We came in to get our oil changed for our '12 Passat. While we were waiting we found another Passat we really loved. My initial contact with Sean Riches of the sales team was friendly, positive, and informative. When I returned the following week, Adam Goldfeder showed me all the great features of the car and explained how VW and the TDI engine were in a class apart from the other manufacturers' cars that I had been considering. I could not be more pleased with my experience at Suntrup VW, from the expertise and no-pressure sales approach of Sean and Adam, to the informal, freindly, and fun atmosphere of the entire dealership. This was my 5th car purchase, and by far it was the most pleasant. I have never left a dealership more informed about the vehicle I purchased. In addition to the sales expertise of Sean and Adam, I would be remiss not to mention the helpfulness and efficiency of Beau in the finance department. I had a great experience working with Adam in selecting my new car. I found him to be very knowledgeable about the various trim lines. In addition, he was very courteous, patient and accomodating. Went in just to look around and possibly test drive a Jetta. Adam Goldfeder was my sales rep. He was very knowledgeable. Despite being new, the car we were int Unethical Business Practices-- Stay Away! My husband visited the dealership on a Monday and worked with Joe. Despite being new, the car we were interested in seemed to have a maintenance issue and Joe put it in the shop for service. On Tuesday and Wednesday, and over the course of multiple conversations with Joe, we continued to wait for word about the service issue and whether the problem had been repaired, while working out a price contingent upon the repair. On Tuesday, we agreed on a specific price (which was the price that I had been offered by another dealership for the same car) but were still waiting for an update on the repair. On Wednesday morning, Joe confirmed that he had discussed the price with the manager and that they could meet that price. He left the phone to check on the repair and promised he'd call back in just a few minutes. That was the last we heard from him. On Thursday morning, nearly 24 hours since I'd last spoken with Joe and agreed on the price, I called the dealership and asked to speak with manager. The manager, Beau, informed me that they had taken a deposit on the car from someone from out of town and regardless, they never could have sold it for the price that Joe had agreed to. Not only was this contrary to Joe's firm statement that they would sell for the agreed price and that the manager had approved that price, but it was also contrary to the dealership's policy that they will "meet or beat" the price offered by another dealership. I have not received an apology or any follow up at all from Joe or anyone else at Suntrup. Before you waste your time with Suntrup, take a look around at some of the other reviews on the web, particularly Yelp. They paint quite a different picture than the reviews here. More
By far one of the best car buying experiences I've had to date. Joe Dawidouski, Sales, was extremely patient and knowledgeable as well as friendly and courteous. Beau Schwartz, Finance Manager, was equally as easy to deal with once the decision to purchase was made. The entire process took less than two hours. I felt like the entire Suntrupt team was vested in ensuring my experience was grand - from educating me on the features of the vehicle, striving for the best possible/fair price, all while making me feel like a truly valued customer. I would highly suggest giving Joe and Beau the opportunity to walk you through your next car buying experience. More
I was in the market for a new vehicle. I went to several dealerships and looked at several different make of cars. Suntrup was the 2nd dealership I went to. The first was so terrible I would never go back - sorry side note. My experience here was AWESOME!! I felt comfortable, my questions were answered and much patience was given with all the questions my friends (I brought 3 different people 3 different times) and I had. I never felt pressured, which means alot! Once I checked out all the cars I had on my "list". I narrowed it down to 2 cars. Both would had been excellent choices. My final decision was based on how my salesman treated me - Sean is a pleasure to work with and helped make my final decision to go with the VW TDI Jetta from Suntrup. The color (Tornado Red) I wanted was not at the dealership but he made arrangements with a dealer in the Chicago area and got exactly what I wanted. Whle I was waiting for my car to arrive I was able to get a loaner. Once my car arrived at the dealership Sean sent me a picture of it to let me know it was there and ready to take home. Excellent Customer Service!! THANK YOU!!! More
