I recently had by Nissan Quest worked on for a few times. When I took my vehicle in for a noise they fixed it and Nissan said I needed a coolant flushing and plugs replaced since my van miles were at 100,00 When I took my vehicle in for a noise they fixed it and Nissan said I needed a coolant flushing and plugs replaced since my van miles were at 100,000. I had it done. There was a delay because the plugs were not in stock, that was fine. They had my van a couple days. Got my van back and was driving on the highway with my son, and the van started to over heat and started shaking badly. I pulled over on the highway and my husband came to meet us and we were able to get the van back to Nissan. They said I needed a new radiator. They kept the van for a few more days, but was not sure why this wasn’t caught the first time. That was fixed, got the van back and had more problems, Had to press harder on the gas to go, had to take it back in again. Now it is the Transmission. Again, not sure why all this was not caught the first two times. Waited for the warranty to be approved, had the van for more time, never was told I could get a car rental that should have been included with my warranty. I purchased the best warranty there was when I purchased my van. Also they found a crack on both sides of my vehicle, but the inspector would only cover the one side, as the other side didn’t have any play. Ok, paid another $100 for them to fix it and after a few more days got my van back. It seemed to be fine, but then it started stalling by the end of the night and you could hear the knocking, like something was loose. This time they actually came to my work to pick up my van as they were worried something was loose they admitted that they did not tighten all the nuts and bolts and that they were double and triple checking my van now. I asked for a rental as they were going to keep my van again, I did receive a rental. During this entire time, the only good thing about this was dealing with Ryan Thoele. He kept me updated and was very nice to work with, my husband went to Nissan on the 2nd time we were dropping off my van and spoke to the manager of service, and he was very rude and not helpful at all. I left him a message to call me when I dropped off my van the 3rd time, and he didn’t even call me back. I bought my van ten years ago and bring it to Nissan Suntrup for all my service and oil changes. Very disappointed how we were treated by the Manager, I use that word loosely. Finally got my van back this went from Oct. 6-Nov. 8. Just the other day my van just shut down when it was raining, my husband opened up the hood and noticed that the plastic housing over the motor was not attached as all the screws were missing? I have to take it in again and wonder how long they will have my van again. This is not our first disappointment, when we get our oil changed they do not always reset the van nor do they top off the fluids. I love my Nissan Quest, has been a great Van, but I want to buy a new car where you can receive great service, not sure if that is Nissan Suntrup. Ryan is their saving grace! More
