Stay as far away from that Dealership as You can . They Lie and they cheat. Bought what I thought was a brand new Car .I signed all the Papers including the Odometer reading which was 55 miles, i thought Lie and they cheat. Bought what I thought was a brand new Car .I signed all the Papers including the Odometer reading which was 55 miles, i thought that was kind of high. I had the car delivered since I did not trade my old one in . When the Salesman delivered it I got into This car for the first Time and noticed it had 1445 miles on odometer , the Salesman's answer was oh i thought you knew that. So I bought a Demo for the price of a new Car and than some. More
Charged for coolant flush that was not performed, looked at the receipt and found that no materials for performing coolant flush were on the receipt, the service technician who worked on my car confirmed t at the receipt and found that no materials for performing coolant flush were on the receipt, the service technician who worked on my car confirmed that service was not performed, they finally refunded money for work that was not performed after 2 weeks. Have reason to believe CV boots for the car were clipped using a clipper. Will never go back there. More
I worked directly with the Sales Manager on our Passat purchase and must say it was a breath of fresh air. They were honest, upfront and made it fun to buy a new car. My daughter bought a 2006 Jetta that developed a major oil leak after 13 mos. I brought the car in to Suntrup VW service on a Tuesday night and they hadn't looked at it by Friday. On Friday, they told m oil leak after 13 mos. I brought the car in to Suntrup VW service on a Tuesday night and they hadn't looked at it by Friday. On Friday, they told me that they wouldn't be able to look at it for another week and to pick it up. I told them to keep the car and demanded a rental car. They told me to come down and pick up the rental car, but when I got down there (45 mins away), they put my car up on the rack and found the source of the leak (or so I thought). They said that it would be okay to drive the car while they ordered parts. I did (foolish me). Long story short, it's been five weeks and twice a week trips to the dealership and they have still not fixed my car. They have now replaced an oil filter flange, a thermostat and a cellenoid. I have to constantly fight for a rental car. They lie to me each time I go down there. Don't buy a car from Suntrup VW and don't bring your car there for service. More

I bought my Jetta from these guys about 9 years ago. I had to take the car back to them to have it serviced. At that time I had a high end stereo system in the car, no decals, rims etc. There was no way had to take the car back to them to have it serviced. At that time I had a high end stereo system in the car, no decals, rims etc. There was no way in looking at the car that you could tell it had a stereo system in it. Well, several days later I get a call from the St. Louis Police Dept telling me my car had been broken in to. This was a total inside job and I didn't get one bit of sympathy from the dealership. The vandals had cut themselves on the glass and bled all over the interior of the car, windows busted out etc. More
Our visit to suntrup VW epitomises everything that is wrong with buying a new car. High pressure sales techniques, dishonest and deceptive employees and cars overprices with a lot of unwanted expensive wrong with buying a new car. High pressure sales techniques, dishonest and deceptive employees and cars overprices with a lot of unwanted expensive "extras". After the first guy couldnt do anyhing for us, we were handed over to the "floor manager". After a number of revised offers, I showed him some research I had done from the kbb site, and he told us that the kbb price was completely unrealistic. Then when I mentioned going to a competitor, he went away to speak to his boss and came back with yet another new offer. We told him what other cars were were considering and he bad mouthed them. At the end we wouldnt have bought a car from them no matter how good the offer. A thoroughtly unpleasant experience. More
