I am sorry we did not provide the service you should expect from us. In the state of Missouri, we do not collect sales tax, which I understand is different in most states. If the finance manager knew you were from out of state, we should have informed you of the state rules. Understand that the gap coverage from your insurance company does not provide as much coverage as the program that is offered at the dealership, they do not cover your deductible like ours does and normally they cover only a percentage of the cars value which is less than what ours covers. Those products are optional and if you do not see the value, then I am glad we were able to remove them and get the sales tax included. I'm sorry we did not live up to your expectations, I hope if you choose to service with us we can have another chance to provide you with the service you deserve and make it up to you. Annemarie, We apologize for your experience, however after checking into the matter with the Nissan Certified Tech that examined your vehicle, we noted in detail that your vehicle was in an accident. The repair facility that installed the aftermarket parts failed to do so properly. The only expense you incurred from our shop was an $89.95 diagnostic fee. We did NO work on your vehicle except tighten a loose clamp. We advised you to return the repair facility that did the initial repairs. I will be more then happy to return your $89.95 diagnostic fee, if you feel so strongly that our efforts were incorrect. I will tell you without a doubt an aftermarket technician is not as qualified to diagnose and repair your vehicle, please note the poor quality of work is what brought you to our shop.
