What began with Bill Suntrup opening the first dealership in the 1960s has blossomed into a multi-generational, family-run automotive empire. Bill's sons, Chris and Tom, are partners in Suntrup West County Volvo, with Tom also serving as President and CEO of Suntrup Ford Kirkwood, Suntrup Buick GMC in St. Peters, and Suntrup Ford Westport.
On the other side of the family tree, Don’s children, Butch and Craig, are proud partners in Suntrup Nissan/Volkswagen, Suntrup Kia, Suntrup Hyundai, and BMW of West St. Louis. As Craig Suntrup reflects, "We all started early in the business, around age 12, doing the grunt work—washing cars, cleaning parts, and painting walls."

Phenomenal purchase experience! I am in owner of three Kias and never had any service issues with any of them other than oil changes and tire changes. I live in Tennessee and previo I am in owner of three Kias and never had any service issues with any of them other than oil changes and tire changes. I live in Tennessee and previously purchased all three Kias in Memphis. I was up here in St. Louis to visit some of my wife's family. I stopped in at Suntrup Kia dealership in St. Louis and had a phenomenal purchase experience - from the opening friendly greeting by sales person Matt Lepp to the purchase. He was really easy-going, honest and not high pressure. Also the finance manager BJ Bruner was also awesome to work with! My experience with this car dealership was better than the three cars I purchased in Memphis. In July I am planning to purchase another Kia for my daughter who will turn 17. It is my intent to make the drive from Memphis to St. Louis to come back to the same dealership and deal with the same sales person. I will call to make sure that my sales person Matt Lepp will be working or I will reschedule to another time before I drive up here to make another purchase. Matt and your team made my wife happy!
