What began with Bill Suntrup opening the first dealership in the 1960s has blossomed into a multi-generational, family-run automotive empire. Just a decade after Bill launched his first dealership, his brother Don joined him, and together, they laid the foundation for what would become the Suntrup Automotive Group.
Today, the Suntrup name is synonymous with quality and trust. With over 20 family members actively involved, the Suntrup legacy continues to thrive. Bill's sons, Chris and Tom, are partners in Suntrup West County Volvo, with Tom also serving as President and CEO of Suntrup Ford Kirkwood, Suntrup Buick GMC in St. Peters, and Suntrup Ford Westport.
On the other side of the family tree, Don’s children, Butch and Craig, are proud partners in Suntrup Nissan/Volkswagen, Suntrup Kia, Suntrup Hyundai, and BMW of West St. Louis. As Craig Suntrup reflects, "We all started early in the business, around age 12, doing the grunt work—washing cars, cleaning parts, and painting walls."

Landry was my sales advisor for my Kia Sportage. He made my buying process very easy! He was very personable and you can tell he truly cares and wants to help. He showed me all the bells and whistle He made my buying process very easy! He was very personable and you can tell he truly cares and wants to help. He showed me all the bells and whistles on my car, which really helped me to get acclimated enough to feel comfortable driving home. In addition to this review, I brought my windshield to get looked at. Not only did Landry guide me through that whole process, he came in on his day off to make sure I was taken care of. I will encourage my friends and family to meet with Landry when they are ready for a new car! He’s new in his role, but definitely didn’t act like it. More

The dealership needs to be more forthcoming about the real odometer readings on the loaner cars they sell. More
