Fantastic customer service We were out of town in Tennessee when we needed to have our 2013 Hyundai Tucson repaired. There was a recall in which the Hyundai dealer let us know that they would cover all the parts and labor. That was great news. But we had to rent a car to get home and thought we would have to drive all the way back from St. Louis to Tennessee to pick it up when it was ready. I called the Hyundai dealer where I bought my car to find out about having it shipped back. I left a message and it was returned very quickly by Ashley. She listened while I gave her all the details of the incident. Then she repeated everything back to make sure she understood completely before checking into it. She was going to check with her boss. She followed up on this request and let me know that the Hyundai dealer in Tennessee would have our car shipped to our house at no cost to us. From my understanding the recall takes care of having the car towed to the nearest Hyundai dealer. She worked on our behalf to explain that we were on vacation several states away and even though it was towed to the nearest Hyundai dealer from the breakdown, it was still 8 hours away from us. So they are going to ship it to us in St. Louis. Everyone at both Hyundai dealers have been very helpful and friendly. My next car will definitely be a Hyundai! Thank you Askley! More

poor customer service I have a 2019 Kona and it's already malfunctioned, I called the dealer to request an appointment and I was told that a rental would not be provided fo I have a 2019 Kona and it's already malfunctioned, I called the dealer to request an appointment and I was told that a rental would not be provided for me unless I paid for one.. First of all this is an inconvenience to me and the malfunction is no fault of my own. Disappointed the Service Dept did not stand behind their wo My Elantra is 5 yrs old and I do a lot of highway driving. The original shark fin antenna cover disappeared, probably blew off after about a year. Evi My Elantra is 5 yrs old and I do a lot of highway driving. The original shark fin antenna cover disappeared, probably blew off after about a year. Evidently the factory doesn’t install them too well. I went to the service dept at Suntrup and was charged $310 to have a new one put on. After driving to the lake, this one had blown off, too. The service writer said in 10 yrs he had never seen one that THEY had installed at Suntrup blow off. So.....maybe the technician didn’t install it properly??? Anyway, he said it was no longer under warranty and they wouldn’t do anything about it. Not wanting to fork over another $310 for a third one in 5 yrs, I found the exact part at a salvage yard store (for $25), took it to 2 different auto body shops for estimates to install, and both said the headliner had to be pulled back and it bolted in. Both said if properly installed this way there would be NO way it could come off the car. I’ve bought 2 new Hyundai’s at Suntrup in 5 yrs and I’ve liked both cars, but not standing behind their service is really disappointing. This was a shark fin antenna cover, probably one of the few car parts that the owner/driver would seldom damage or even mess with themselves. I sure didn’t. The service writer knew they had not installed the replacement properly, but all he did was he gave me the Hyundai customer service number and told me to call them. I did, no help. More
Best service at a dealership ever! Had warranty work done on an older Hyundai that wasn’t even purchased through this dealership.
