This was not the first time I had contacted this dealership. Just over 1 year ago I has stopped in and spoke to Tony. I was not able to get a vehicle then due to other circumstances. When I walked i dealership. Just over 1 year ago I has stopped in and spoke to Tony. I was not able to get a vehicle then due to other circumstances. When I walked into the dealership this time, Tony remembered me and my wife. That set a good tone from the beginning. Also, I made it a point to choose Suntrup Hyundai as one of the places to visit this time around. Tony was very patient and receptive to all the times that I kept changing my mind on vehicles. Tony is easy to talk to and has a genuine personality. Lisa, in the financing dept was just as wonderful. She worked hard to get me a good rate since my credit was not the best as i was unemployed for 10 months last year. She also worked hard to get us a good extended warranty for the used vehicle. I would recommend this dealership to anyone. I would definitely make sure I stopped in there before and after going any place else. More
I went to look for a elantra because the it was in our price range. this dealer added all sorts of things we didn't need or want on all of the cars so there was no choice but to accept them. they even wen price range. this dealer added all sorts of things we didn't need or want on all of the cars so there was no choice but to accept them. they even went so as to charge for the inspection of the product after shipping. crazy! after all sorts of haggeling, they expected us to sign papers without even letting us know where the financing was coming from or the percetage rate. along with things to many to mention here, I have never had such a bad experiece. From the time that I first stepped on the lot, my new car purchasing experience was excellent. Joe did not "hustle" me into something that I did not want. He gave us plenty of time to decide including leav purchasing experience was excellent. Joe did not "hustle" me into something that I did not want. He gave us plenty of time to decide including leaving the dealership and then coming back. When we returned, Joe worked with us on two different vehicles and worked with the finance people until we got whated. Lisa was excellent as we went through the paperwork and did not pressure us into the extended warrenty or gap insurance but just explained the advantages of having both. When I picked up my new vehicle, Tony was excellent about taking the time to show me the features of the car and answer my multitude of questions. He never made me feel like I was taking up too much of his time or inadequate. Both he and Joe walked me to the location of the service department so that I would know where to go and then set up my on-line account and scheduled my first oil change. I have had the opportunity to purchase vehicles over the years, but the quality of service at Suntrup was by far the best I have ever experienced and I would highly reccommend them! More
The sales person was helpful. She gave me useful information about the cars features and walked/talked me through them more than once. I purchased my 2010 Hyundai Genesis, a true luxury car, through Liz Kelly, Suntrup's Internet Manager. For those of us who prefer to deal online, Liz is the go-to person. I felt I was in control regardin through Liz Kelly, Suntrup's Internet Manager. For those of us who prefer to deal online, Liz is the go-to person. I felt I was in control regarding my wants and purchase price. I was able to submit my requests online and promptly received the best possible purchase. Liz prepared an online inventory of requested options and the process was convientent, efficient and painless. This is a pleasure when you don't want to or know how to haggle with salespeople. As with any significant purchases, you should be knowledgable, buyer/finance saavy and detail-oriented to all contractual clauses. I also found Edmunds.com helpful guiding me on a fair price to pay. At first I had the intention of going in to see if I can test drive the Hyundai Elantra Touring to see what the car was like. I had no intentions of buying something right away because of 1) my credit and test drive the Hyundai Elantra Touring to see what the car was like. I had no intentions of buying something right away because of 1) my credit and 2) the payoff of my trade. Once I met Irfan outside on the lot, he took me inside and we did a credit app. I wasn't able to get the Elantra Touring, just the sedan. Seeing as how I'm not a fan of sedans, I instead elected to go with the Accent. I was skeptical that they could get me approved for the Accent SE that they had in stock, but by a stroke of genius (and luck) they got me approved and got my car payments lowered in the process! It was awe-struck that I actually landed a brand new car after I've been shopping around for at least two and a half months. Now I have a sweet Hyundai Accent SE that I love driving around...a lot more than my old Chrysler PT Cruiser (the car I traded in for the Accent). I think Irfan said it best...if Suntrup can't get you approved for a new (or used) vehicle, no one can! You can take that to the bank. This man made it happen, and I couldn't thank him enough. Anyone looking for a new Hyundai, please go to Suntrup, and look for Irfan. He'll a really great guy and he'll definitely help you out. More
One year ago we purchased a 2009 Sonata LTD from Suntrup and Tony Schumann was our salesman. He was courteous, knowledgeable, professional and clear in communication throughout the process. He took time to and Tony Schumann was our salesman. He was courteous, knowledgeable, professional and clear in communication throughout the process. He took time to inquire about and then carefully listen to our needs and preferences. Through his efforts, we ended up with a quality product that is a "just right" fit for us. We have been very happy with the Sonata - it has performed extremely well. Following the purchase, Tony has been consistent and timely in offering reminders regarding scheduling routine maintenance on the vehicle and in sending us information about special values and services afforded by Suntrup. He has earned our trust and appreciation for the quality of his service. Thus, when we began our search for another vehicle, we returned to Suntrup and Tony. Having spent much time researching and considering a variety of makes and models, both new and used, today we purchased a second vehicle from Tony - this time a sporty Sapphire Blue 2010 Accent GS 3Door. Once again, the quality of Tony's service was exceptional - from the beginning of our exploration, onto test drives, facilitating acceptable financing terms and through the completion of signatures on the final documents (with capable support from Ms. Texanne McBride. Tony builds positive relationships with his clients; he is a consummate professional and we are his happy and grateful customers. More
I have been looking for a smaller SUV for some time and liked the original Tucson, and was eager to see the remodeled version, so I stopped in to LOOK! After test driving one and hearing from Freddy about liked the original Tucson, and was eager to see the remodeled version, so I stopped in to LOOK! After test driving one and hearing from Freddy about all of the safety features I was totally convinced this was the one for me. The only drawback was the color, the more I looked at it, I wasn't convinced I would like the color for as long as I plan on keeping it. So Freddy got on the horn and found just the one I wanted and could have it the next morning. I was immediately sold without even seeing it. I am convinced this is the coolest looking and best driving of the others I drove, which include the Honda CRV, Toyota Rav4 and the Kia Sportage. I doubt I will ever own aother make of car!!! I definely recommend the Hyundai, Suntrup and especially Freddy who went over an above to make sure I was happy!!!! and got the one I wanted. More
I can’t say enough good things about our experience at Suntrup Hyundai and specifically with our salesman, Tony Schumann. Tony was a pro from the moment he greeted us on the lot. We were interested in t Suntrup Hyundai and specifically with our salesman, Tony Schumann. Tony was a pro from the moment he greeted us on the lot. We were interested in the 2011 Sonatas and Tony took notes as to what we were looking for in a car. He found four Sonatas on the lot that matched our criteria (in four different colors) and took us to each one. He accompanied us on the test drive and went over all of the features on the Sonata. We bought the Sonata from Tony that day. Before we drove off the lot Tony went over the satellite radio and synced my phone with the in-car Bluetooth system. Tony called me after the first week to see how things were going and asked if he could answer any questions. I am truly impressed with Tony because he went above and beyond any other salesman I have ever dealt with before. I especially liked the check-in phone call after the first week to see how things were going. The following is not a reflection on Suntrup Hyundai or Tony but the dealership building needs some improvement. The building is old and small and customer parking is really limited. It’s a really busy place and it would benefit from some more space, inside and out. We visited a Ford dealership prior to stopping at Suntrup Hyundai and the difference was night and day. The Ford salesman never introduced himself and was completely apathetic about selling a car. That’s probably why the dealership was dead and we heard crickets chirping when we entered the showroom. I would highly recommend Suntrup Hyundai and Tony Schumann!! More
I was on the hunt for 2 used cars to fit my budget. I called the dealership in question about a sale i heard on their internet site. The sales rep they connected me was with TOMMY DAHER. I asked him ab called the dealership in question about a sale i heard on their internet site. The sales rep they connected me was with TOMMY DAHER. I asked him about the deals i heard about he and he wouldn't tell me anything over the phone. . he wanted me to come into talk with him. So, intrigued by the sale i did. . . which i guess was a mistake. When i got there. . . he took me to 2 cars, i test drove them, and all was good. . .he played the nice guy and 'seemed' interested in me. We spent a good deal talking and then finally it came down to me needing 2 cars that will fit me within a designated budget. At the time, after speaking of the budget there was really no cars on the lot that i was interested in buying. Tommy then became very DESPARATE. He was showing me cars and running off to get them for me to test drive even before i had the chance to tell him that i wasn't interested in certain brands. Also, I almost had to beg to see the breakdown of the numbers to see what he was trying to get me to purchase. It was a BIG SECRET of the prices and rates he was trying to get me set up with. He and his sales manager were very cocky and pushed hard. I didn't appreciate that. And he never gave me the time i requested to speak to my wife. So after finding 1 possible car, i told him we'd hold off until he had two of the choices that i wanted. . . i deliberately told him i don't want to 'settle'. He did not get that. . Then he said "Well, we've had a lot of time invested in looking for you today" which in my ears i understood "YOUR WASTING MY TIME". So after that i told him to call me when he's got a pair that i'm interested in. . .. over the next two days he did follow up with me. Short story, the was pushy as hell, didn't give me time to think, etc. 4 days later i went elsewhere just to compare prices. . . another Hyundai dealer. . . OMG, what a difference. . At this OTHER place i was introduced by a HUMAN, not a greedy sales man. AND he was able to give me BETTER choices and BETTER deals. So i bought. Today I called TOMMY DAHER to give him courtesy call that my wife and I had purchased elsewhere. I told him I appreciated his time and tried to be nice and show gratitude and i even mentioned that i had some friends that are interested in buying. . . . and guess what. .. THE F@CKER hung up on me. That really made me mad. In an effort to look out for others. . . 1. DON"T GO HERE. . . 2. If TOMMY DAHER tries to be nice to you, know that he doesn't car about you and that he just wants his sale. For him to hang up on me when i start to try to give some references, really let me know what his character was like. TOMMY DAHER, you have made the wrong friend. More
