My experience with this dealership was an over all great experience. I was unable to lease a vehicle I wanted due to a blemish on my credit so the team at Suntrup went to bat and made it possible for me to experience. We walked in the door of the dealership on what was an extremely busy day for the dealership. My wife and I were accompanied by our four year old son, which is a challenge on a good day. Mr. Schumann introduced himself immediately, and when he learned that we were there to buy a new Veracruz that day, and that a test drive was not in order, as we had test driven one a few weeks prior, Mr. Schumann got right down to business with us. The price, payments, and financing were settled on within a few minutes, and the paperwork was signed with a firm handshake. We were then directed to the Business Manager, Texanne who was as swift and efficiant as she was personable and professional. She worked hard to get us a wonderful deal and secured our financing. We found her to be delightful. Our first car buying experience in ten years was pleasant and painless. Tony took us out to our beautiful new car, and explained all of its functions and features in detail, and stayed with us, assuring us that he believed in service after the sale, and he answered all of our questions in a knowledgable and pleasant manner. We drove out of the dealership that day feeling good about the entire experience. More
I did not need a new vehicle, but wanted to explore downsizing from my Hyundai Tucson, plus reduce my monthly payments. Martin was a fairly new salesperson. From the start, he was keenly interested in my needs. We took a test drive in a 2011 Tucson. His knowledge of the vehicle was very good, and he explained all options. Then he told me about the Elantra Touring. They only had three on the lot. We took a test drive. I liked it immediately. The negotiation process on price and my trade was handled well. I pressed for a higher trade-in value and Martin gave acceptable reasons why it needed to be what it was. I did press for a dealer loyalty discount, since I had purchased and referred people who had purchased multiple Hyundais from Suntrup back to 2001. The Touring was not eligible for the discount, but Martin negotiated one for me with his manager. Lisa Sachs was also very professional and speedy in processing my sales paperwork. Martin has called me monthly to assess my continuing satisfaction with the Elantra and always asks, "Is there anything we can do for you at this point?" He also has reminded me thrugh E-mail of my 3-month checkup. A stand-by service visit managed by Gabe when my low tire pressure indicator light was on and I could not add air to one of the tires, took ten minutes. He saw to it that all tires were up to specs and sent me on my way. All in all, this experience--which is continuing--has been very satisfying, just what I expect from Suntrup. More
