Ioniq Review The salesperson did spend a lot of time with me as I was determining if the Ioniq was a good car for me, I would have preferred a plug in hybrid but The salesperson did spend a lot of time with me as I was determining if the Ioniq was a good car for me, I would have preferred a plug in hybrid but was told it would not be available in St. Louis, The joy that should have felt was destroyed by typical car sales high pressure. I was asked how much I wanted to pay. I was shown an invoice which was used to justify reducing the sticker price. I know this I bull and there are incentives which add to the profit. I sat for long periods of time (hours) and was leaving when the Sale Person said give him 5 minutes. Well it took an hour or more after that comment. I like the car and the green elements and fuel efficiency along with the safety features sold me on the car. I also like the size. I was looking at a Chevy Volt and felt the same stupid high pressure at 2 Chevy dealers. I decided that it was too small and was fed up with the deal. I was hoping Suntrup would have less xxxxxxxx. I was treated like family I really cannot overstate how welcoming the Suntrup staff was - the entire process was surpisingly enjoyable. The Hyundai Accent was the first car I'd ever test driven (I'm 19 years old), and I knew it was the one the moment I slipped into the driver's seat. A.R. was kind and supportive as I slowly weaved through the streets - I was shaking from the nerves, but he complimented my driving and showed me the console controls. When we got back to the lot, he promised my parents a good deal on the car (needless to say, he delivered). When I picked up the car a few days later, he waved me goodbye and wished me luck after he explained the car manual in a way even a new driver could understand. Overall, he was personable, kind and clearly passionate about his job. I cannot reccomend him enough. More
