Service staff from the service manager down were tops. They were amazing. Sales staff from the sales manager down need training or just outright need to be dumped. I shopped online. Several dealerships. Looking for an F-150. They had two that fit what I looked for. Had difficulty from the start and probably should have walked away then. Wanted to price out two trucks to see what worked for my down payment and loan. Salesman didn't want to do it, made it seem as though he couldn't. Took the sales manager to come in and do the side by side I wanted. Ultimately we did the deal on one with me taking the keys and delivering my trades that day and the following Monday. Because someone had smoked in it They were supposed to deliver it - detailed, and Ozone treated. The following Monday I call. Not ready- probably ready by 1:00. Call at about 12:15. Come up when you are ready. I arrive a little to 1:00. Hand over the keys to my trade a check and they deliver the truck without detail and the smell of smoke still present in it. Salesman is out there wiping the interior and exterior with canned cleaner and rags. I ask about it and the salesman says they contract out the detail and another sales person beat him to the detail. Also only one porter on duty. Tells me they can ozone it again and I can "drop it by" whenever I want to detail it. The next week I call the sales person and asked to schedule it for detail and to address the smoke issue and we settle on a date one month later. I ask if they will change the cabin air filter and he can't or won't commit to it. I place three calls to the sales manager who never returns my call. Only to get a call from the salesman saying that they can check on the air filter if the ozone treatment doesnt work. So no commitment still on this issue. A week prior to the "appointment" I find a cracked fog light so I call service to schedule it and get it scheduled to be looked at the same day of the "scheduled detail/ozone". They don't know anything about the detail or the ozone treatment. I bring it in on the appointment date which happens to be a wet rainy - snowy day...Service is great. On their game. The fog light is going to get checked. May be a warranty issue may not be. No big deal. I go to the reception desk and ask for the sales person. Regarding the detail and ozone and he isn't in. Nobody seems to know anything about the promised work except him. I flip my lid and two managers come out. One hangs back while the other listens to my complaints. She doesnt get it. The other steps forward and acknowledged they dropped the ball and said they will take care of it. They get an accounting of everything I am there for and give me a ride home. They send the sales man back to pick me up that evening and take me back to get my truck. They fixed the fog light and detailed the inside of the truck but since it was snowing not the outside ( understandable) and ozone it. So they fixed it- more or less. As he walks away the salesman says to bring it by any time and he well get it washed for me. No respect for my time and my dollar at all. No sense of real customer service. A lot for a customer who just spent THOUSANDS of dollars on one of their vehicles to have to go through just to get what should come with every single vehicle that rolls off of their lot as a sale - a freaking detail. You would think they would want their sold vehicles to sparkle and shine when they roll away. No. Save yourself some angst. Go to another Ford dealer. More

Never been there before but would travel to find vehicle I have been looking for about 3 months. On the internet they had a 2018 Ford Edge that had everything I was looking for 2 wheel drive right colors and 6 cyl. engine and was a rental vehicle and no sun roof. Talked to Mike Eime who was Internet Sales Consultant and he answered all my questions and what he did not know he found out and sent me more pictures and the Auto Check and called me back right away and was very helpful. I asked Mike to ask his supervisor if they would go down any more on price. Mike said that internet price was usually the lowest price. I told him I had been dealing with car dealers the last three months and I know they will come down a little more to get the sale and he said he would ask. Mike text me that his sales manger wanted to talk to me and to call back and I did and he hooked me up with his sales manger. First thing out is mouth I see your looking and the lowest priced Edge in this area. I told him do not know about that but it's got all the options looking for. Then he said that he will look at the computer and see about prices. So I had to ask him what is name was and he said Chad. Then he starts telling me this is the lowest price edge in 200 mile radius and he can not go down on the price and if I did not like the price go somewhere else and saying it very smart mouth. I was a little taken back that a sales manger would talk to a potential buyer that way. I told Mike that I would call him the next day. Called thanked Mike for all the help but Chad Mober Pre-Owned Sales Manger was a jerk and would not be interested in the car because of him. If Chad would just said that this is lowest price all we good do I would understand but to be smart mouth and tell me I'm not going to find a better deal is bull. If this is the way the upper staff talks to a potential buyer I wish you luck. More

I got passed around like a potato between service and sales for three months. The sales guy didnt give a crap about my situation and the used car sales manager would say things and disappear. A previous reviewer hit the nail on the head when they mentioned when you ask for Chad, you almost always get someone else or if you do get him he tries to push you off to a sales person to get away. You also dont get phone calls returned as promised. I had to constantly call up there or show up in person to get updates on my situation. I technically owned the vehicle, but Suntrup Ford had it in their possession the majority of the time and never fixed the issue. They even had to do some cosmetic repairs to the vehicle, because it was damaged while in their possession. I wasnt told about the damage, I found it on my own because they had forgot to reinstall a panel and when I went to reinstall the panel I noticed the damage to my vehicle. They finally ended up sending it to another dealership that actually manufactures the vehicle and its supposedly fixed, but honestly with this place it's hard to believe anything that they say. Do yourself a favor and go to a dealership that values it customers more than this place. More

There are surely better Ford dealerships in the St Louis area. A dealership that actually remembers your appointment time when made. A dealership whose salesmen actually knows all the ins and outs of the product they’re selling. One whose sales managers and finance manager actually listen to their salesman, (without cursing at them,) and to the customer about what the customer wants and not just what deal they want to push you into buying. I’m advising all my veteran brothers and sisters from the VFW, Amvets and American Legion to drive right by this dealership and shop elsewhere. More

The price offered on our trade-in and the price of the new car were fair. The car had recently come to the dealership, so we are going back for detailing next week and they offered us a loaner while the work is being done. All in all, it was a pleasant buying experience and we would go back there again. More

I started off by walking in with a specific F-150 picked out from their online inventory. I was assisted by Eddie, we took a test drive and got the ball rolling. I spoke with both Eddie and Malik on the phone and via text over the next few days. Finished up the deal with Malik. Eddie and Malik were extremely professional, honest, personable and didn’t pressure me in any way! They were easy going, pleasant and genuinely passionate about earning my business. I did a lot of shopping around so they definitely earned it! Buying Nightmare I purchased my vehicle from suntrup on July 17th, I had purchased what I thought was going to be a safe and reliable car for myself, my son and soon t I purchased my vehicle from suntrup on July 17th, I had purchased what I thought was going to be a safe and reliable car for myself, my son and soon to be daughter. That quickly took a turn as soon as I got the car home put it in reverse to straighten out my parking. I heard a loud pop when turning the steering wheel. I immediately called Terry (the gentleman who sold me the vehicle) and was told someone from service would get a hold of me to set up an appointment to get it fixed. Heres where everything really starts to go downhill, I was never contacted and after a few days of calling and getting no response I took the vehicle to my local mechanic on the 19th to have it looked over. My mechanic found several things wrong with the vehicle and stated that it should not have been allowed to be driven off the lot in that condition. It needed a new rack n pinion (the popping I heard when turning the steering wheel) struts, brake booster, power steering fuel line is leaking, rear axel, and tires were extremely bald and worn on the inside. After finding this out I continued to call with no response or call back from the manager, Chad, and it took getting a hold of Terry to even get the slightest call back. Once I finally got a in touch with Chad, I was told I would be given a time to bring it in. Once again no one called me with a time to bring the vehicle in. om Tuesday the 24th I took it upon myself to go back and take it up there with the vehicle. I was met by Terry who simply wanted to rush me out and put me in a temporary car without telling me what they were planning on doing next. After asking, he told me the technician who passed the car for safety and emissions was going to look over the car again along with the manager and they would be calling me back. I gave them my copy of what my mechanic found and told him that in addition to those issues the check engine light had popped on that day. He acted like he was writing said issues down and gave me the keys to the rental and sent me off. Two days later Terry called me and told me "basically" everything I had found wrong with the car was what they found and that Chad would be getting in touch with me to discuss it further. I heard from Chad on the 26th when he asked me to bring up the Kia they put me in because they had actually sold the vehicle and needed it back. I agreed and asked him for a free minutes for us to sit down and talk about what was going to be done to the vehicle I had purchased. At this time I was told yes but as soon as I got there that quickly changed. When I arrived I sat and waited for Chad only to be met by someone else who once again was going to send me off in a different car. I asked where Chad was and if I could speak to him about my vehicle and was directed outside to the bbq grill where he was throwing chicken on the grill. I asked him what they were planning on fixing and his exact words were "basically the things your mechanic found". I said ok and asked for an invoice of what was going to be fixed and how long it would take. I was told about 10 days and he sent me off with one of the other salesmen to go to the service department where they "allegedly" had the invoice. It was not there. we went back up to Chad and he said well I guess I'll have to get it back to you. I was brushed aside because he was too busy putting his lunch on the grill when I told him exactly what time I would be there that day to speak with him. The salesman Chad pawned me off on told me either Chad or Terry will get it emailed to me by the next day. Frustrated, I left in the next vehicle they put me in and waited for the email with the invoice. I waited 2 days before calling Terry, because calling Chad gets you no where, and left a voicemail stating I had never recieved an email with the invoice of what they were fixing on my car. I never recieved a call back or an email, on Aug 7th I finally recieved a text from Terry with a picture of the invoice. Once again I stated to him this is the worst customer service experience I have ever had and I had still to hear from Chad about what was going on with my vehicle! Today is now August 16th and I STILL have yet to hear anything back about my car! I purchased this car a month ago and havent even been able to drive it and dont even have any type of reassurance that the issues are being fixed properly or at all!! I'm currently paying on a vehicle that isn't safe to drive and I dont even have!! I'm extremely upset with this whole situation and frankly extremely pissed! I wish I would have just returned the car instead of trying to make it work because I like the vehicle! I strongly recommend that anyone looking to purchase from here take a second to think about it and make sure they aren't trying to just pull one over on you! No one deserves to be treated this way and ignored, especially when I did nothing to the vehicle except drive it home! More
