Jim did a great job with meeting all of my needs. He was very patient with me as I worked through the process of selecting a car (for me, it was a very long process!). I have only purchased Toyota's in the past because my #1 concern is reliability and durability. Despite the bad Toyota press recently, I have had great experience with my Corollas. I put 215K miles on the first one and the second is at about 80K miles with no significant problems (routine maintenance only). It didn't hurt that we were interested in AWD so my wife and I could feel a little safer driving in the Michigan snow. As far as I can tell, Sienna is the only AWD minivan on the market. When we absolutely couldn't go any longer without a family car, I spent weeks looking around the Internet at new and used options because I really wasn't happy with what the local Toyota dealership had to offer. We decided to go with a used vehicle to keep the cost more reasonable and I was worried that I would have to travel out of state to get what I was looking for. Then I happened upon a couple listings at Sunshine Toyota that piqued my interest. I sent an inquiry via email and Aimee Alger handled my questions. I want to specifically mention what a great job she did getting back to me, answering my questions, and making the whole experience easy *before I even got to the dealership.* No secret to her success, she just responded quickly and effectively via email. Sounds simple, but I have been in and out of a half dozen dealerships over the last year and at least three other sales people who could have had me on the hook lost me because they didn't follow up properly. No one wants the pushy experience, but you do expect that when someone tells you they will be in touch that they follow through. I got the family in the car and we drove 1.5 hours Battle Creek to test drive. The vehicle we drove and eventually ended up buying was a 2007 Sienne LE AWD and it could not have been in better condition. Spotless interior, all the features we were looking for and just over 20K miles. I had done a lot of price comparison and though it wasn't the absolute cheapest option, it was the most reasonable within a couple hundred miles. Overall, the experience was great. Count this as the third great Toyota purchasing experience I have had. I don't know if I'll still be in Michigan when I'm looking to purchase my next vehicle, but if I am, Sunshine Toyota will be the first place I look. More

Aimee takes the time to see what really meets your needs, not just trying for a quick sell on what you think you are looking for. Financing was handled quickly and she has followed up to be sure I'm still satisfied and not having any problems. Absolutely recommend this delearship and this salesperson in particular. More

He went over all of the truck's features in detail. After our purchase, we were introduced to the service and parts department folks. Very friendly and helpful. The woman who did the financial paperwork, Lisa, was also very friendly and nice. We were offered soft drinks, tea, or water on each of our two visits both by our salesman and by the sales manager. The restroom was very clean, something that was most appreciated. All in all, I highly recommend Sunshine and intend to buy from them again. More

I did my research on Consumer Reports and decided to buy a Toyota Venza. I used the Consumer Reports buying service to find the best price for the vehicle and through that service I was put in touch with J a Toyota Venza. He answered my first inquiry within hours and every communication after was prompt and professional. I liked that there was no dickering and that the price was set. Jim also had full power to negotiate on behalf of the dealership. I didn't feel like I was working with an intermediary. I then compared prices at three other stores and Sunshine's price was lowest. Jim was very easy to work with. His professionalism made this purchase the best auto buying experience I have had.
