They were wonderful & got me a loaner car to get me back on the road while my SUV got fixed, it was a BIG repair & totally covered. The entire staff @Auburn Sunset KIA was great & much appreciated. Kudos to them! Sincerely, Terry Masters More

You have GOT to be kidding me So, today, September 22 I had my first service appointment with Sunset KIa of Auburn. For an oil change. The car told me I needed "service" and I call So, today, September 22 I had my first service appointment with Sunset KIa of Auburn. For an oil change. The car told me I needed "service" and I called several days ago to make the appointment. "What kind of service do you need", they asked. I don't know- the car just said it needed service. "how many miles do you have on your car?" I don't know. Do I need to go look? Not very many..." It's just an oil change". Okay, can you tell me how long the appointment will take? "one and a half hours." Okay, then schedule me at 9"30 am blah blah blah. So I take my car up to KIA Sunset. I check in with one guy, and a different lady takes over and brings me papers to sign. Nobody asks me any questions- but they do tell me that there is "another scheduled service" my car needs- turned out to be a recall....something to do with the transmission shifting. So, I wait 2 hours...sitting in their lobby, reading old magazines from January and drinking a cup of coffee that I had to ask the receptionist how to make. It had powdered creamer in a can and no sugar, because the sugar can was empty. There are no reasonable tables- I had to put my coffee cup on the floor. But I digress....the lady comes and tells me that they cannot do the scheduled tire rotation because my tires are too worn and I need new tires soon. "say what? i have put 1800 miles on this car- are you kidding me?" "No. You need new tires- everything else looks good. Except the air filters- they need to be replaced. Your tires- well, rainy season is here and we cannot rotate your tires without it being a safety hazard.". I say I have a question- this EVO app for my car says that I am due for a maintenance service in 1,000 miles... do I need to bring it back in? "No, it's just for air filters and tire rotation, and we have that covered today. I said, well replace the filters now....So my bill comes to $120 bucks and I pay it, I am sooo upset about the tire thing. I leave and go to a gas station and check my bill- I have been charged $65 for my "Free Oil Changes for Life".So I return to Sunset KIA and I ask about the charges. "Do you have your card?"/ What card, I ask. "We mailed you a card. Did you attend the class? Yes, i attended on August 5. "we mailed you a card" I never got any card. "Let me check your address. We mailed it to this address." That may be all well and good, but I am telling you that I didn't receive a card, and you need to send me a new one please."I can't do that. It's not my job." That's what I was told...."it's not my job".Then the check-in lady, who prefaced her "I will comp your oil change today as a convenience to you" with- "well, I didn't check you in." Nobody asked me for a card. I bought a certified, barely used fully loaded Sorento from these guys and paid in excess of $50k. I got about 5 miles away when the car phone rang- it's Sunset KIA. They want me to return because they are having trouble crediting my account. I return. There are other issues. They apologize and say they "will get it". I refrain from asking them if it will be in my lifetime. I am smiling. I am nice. I talk with the acting Service Manager- the original Manager is no longer working there- I ask about my concerns with my tires. She checks my original safety inspection which shows a tread of 9/whatevers and 7 whatevers when I purchased the car, and says that is acceptable under the safety laws "So, today, after 1800 miles the tread is 7 and 4.5 whatevers and I need new tires ???" The manager decides to rotate the tires under my "free maintenance for life" contract but says nothing about the discrepancy between the 2 readings. I drive off wondering how "safe" my car really is. I get home and while unloading the car I find spare parts on the passenger floorboard. Not used air filters- knob things. They look important, but I haven't a clue as to what they are. I call the dealership and ask them if they have any idea of what they might be. "Yes, those are the knobs that hold your glovebox in the dashboard. "Very carefully open..." SAY WHAT? "yes, without those knobs the glovebox will rotate out of the dash." So they "forgot" to reinstall them. During a 5 hour appointment that was supposed to take an hour and a half. And I need to drive a 45 minute one-way trip to have them fix the job that they so shoddily did not complete. I am pretty much over giving Sunset KIA a break on being a 'new' dealership- they have multiple outlets and if they are all managed as poorly as this one seems to be they are in a world of hurt. I left today with my hands shaking and feeling like I was insane. I am not. I haven't been rude. I have been patient. THIS IS BEYOND UNACCEPTABLE. I have removed the stars I added and this dealership is returned to 1 star. If you have any questions, please feel free to message me on Facebook. Sincerely yours; Teresa Hunt. This is my follow up review after purchasing my vehicle in June and having an issue that was supposed to take 2.5 days and took 3.5 weeks in which they broke the sunroof in my car, didn't talk to me about it and lied to me about the cause of the delays. You can find my original review on their Facebook page, Yelp and Google. More

Wh I had an appointment for a one and a half day service (with no loaner). Brought my car in on Wednesday, expecting to pick it up Friday afternoon. When I called Friday to find out if it was ready, was informed 2 techs were out for a funeral and it wouldn't be ready until Monday. The service center is open every day except Sunday. Monday I called and was told it wouldn't be ready until Tuesday. I have to wonder if anyone worked on it Thurs, Fri, or Saturday. Very unhappy. No one even bothered to call to inform me the car wouldn't be ready when it was promised. More
HORRIBLE Customer Service Rating is less than one but you have to check a start. I bought a very clean 2013 Sportage, in excellent shape, from these guys. The salesman was a Rating is less than one but you have to check a start. I bought a very clean 2013 Sportage, in excellent shape, from these guys. The salesman was a young kid, just starting out. I was negotiating with him and half way through another, very aggressive, tweaked out, salesman took over. After two hours, I had my car. I added installation of a moon roof to the contract and was told they would call me to schedule the installation. They didn't call. I called them every week for three weeks and was finally scheduled. I dropped my car off at 7:45 Wednesday morning and picked it up at 6:00 Friday evening. When I washed it Saturday morning, I noticed a huge gouge on the back spoiler, which started on the car and ran across the spoiler. I contacted the service department Monday morning and told them about the gouge. After a month of getting the run around between service, sales, and managers, Auburn Valley Kia offered me a can of black paint so I can paint the gouge myself. When I contacted them again on 9/18/15, Todd, the service manager became hostile and refused any type of compromise, and said that's what you get when buying a used car. The gouge was NOT there when I bought the car, nor was it there when I dropped the car off. It happened while it was in Auburn Valley Kia's care, so it's their responsibility. Auburn Valley Kia refuses to take responsibility for the gouge, causing me to have to file a small claims law suit against them. More
Excellent Service Excellent! I live in Lacey, WA and was searching for a 2015 Kia Sedona SXL. I was contacted by various sales representatives from different dealership Excellent! I live in Lacey, WA and was searching for a 2015 Kia Sedona SXL. I was contacted by various sales representatives from different dealerships that were closer to my house. When Mr. Guy Brown (Auburn Valley Kia) contacted me I noticed his sincerity and honesty in finding me the van that I wanted. Mr. Guy Brown promised me a great deal and he delivered on his promise. I purchased a 2015 Kia Sedona SXL from Mr. Guy Brown and it was the best car buying experience I have had in my 40 years of purchasing automobiles. Although I by-passed a number of Kia dealerships located between Lacey and Auburn, dealing with Mr. Guy Brown was well worth it. Thanks again to Mr. Guy Brown and all the sales representatives for your outstanding service in meeting (and exceeding) the standards of true customer service. My wife and I were very satisfied with your service and will recommend you to our friends. The only recommendation that I have is "DON'T CHANGE" and "KEEP DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING". Thanks again. More
