As electric cars become a progressively larger part of the American auto world, it would be helpful for the salespeople in general to have more training in electric cars' real world use. More information about the charging systems and how customers can find appropriate public charging stations is essential to easing customers away from gas vehicles and into electric vehicles. Understanding the various instrument settings within the car that can increase mileage range is also important to their long term satisfaction with their choice. Our previous experience had been with a Nissan dealership where the salesperson actually owned an electric vehicle himself and knew all the ins and outs of the car he was selling. This knowledge made it easy for him to answer every question efficiently and accurately. I expect that as EV sales become a greater portion of Sunset Kia's business expertise will grow throughout the dealership. More
