First, the sales team was great to work with when we purchased a certified used car with 7,000 miles. With the certification, we were told we would get 2 free oil changes. Six months later, Sunset Hond purchased a certified used car with 7,000 miles. With the certification, we were told we would get 2 free oil changes. Six months later, Sunset Honda Service said the free oil changes can only be used if the car's oil sensor was activated. Like many others, we didn't drive much because of the pandemic. So, before a trip that would add about 1,000+ miles to the car, common sense says change the oil. But, NOT if I wanted to use of of the free oil changes. What BS! To top it off, the service person suggested I may want to do brake flush recommended for a 3-year-old car. Our Accord will turn 3 in 5.5 month. The message to me, we will take your $200 early for the brake flush, but you can't get a the oil change early. Not a customer focused service org. VERY disappointed. More

As a new Sunset Honda Atascadero Service customer, I had the best human and mechanical service ever. Both service managers worked with me to understand what was safety critical and what could last a bit lon the best human and mechanical service ever. Both service managers worked with me to understand what was safety critical and what could last a bit longer working with me on my limited budget but also prioritizing items now and for next. Our salesman, Jake was excellent. He answered all our questions, was very attentive and did not pressure us in anyway. He invited us to contact him at anytime with questions. As usual service was punctual and the quality was good. However upon service I was directed to the wrong agent. When I was directed to the agent that was supposed to help me it seems like I is the customer However upon service I was directed to the wrong agent. When I was directed to the agent that was supposed to help me it seems like I is the customer was an inconvenience to her. She was very short and abrupt. I'm not sure if this because I had a coupon and didn't want additional Services. I felt rather awkward and not appreciated. This was rather disappointing. Customer service should always be the highest as a consumer has options to go other places. A friendly smile and making a customer feel like they're important and valued goes a long way.
