My appointment was at 7:30am -vehicle was not done until 5:25pm. The employees are nice, but the truck repairs took too long. I also had to call for updates a couple of times. I took the truck in for a burning electrical smell when using the heated seats, and some oil leaks. All repairs were done under warranty. They had my truck for 2.5 weeks, waiting in line for the oil leak r using the heated seats, and some oil leaks. All repairs were done under warranty. They had my truck for 2.5 weeks, waiting in line for the oil leak repair. The problem is the module for the heated seat. Now the passenger seat's AC comes on when turning on its heated seat, and the drivers heated seat seems to only run on high no matter which setting it is on. It is obvious that the tech that did that repair didn't even attempt to check that he did the repair correctly. Now I'm going to have to take my truck back in, get it back " in line" for who knows how long, to hopefully get it fixed correctly the second time. Kenny was always very friendly and informative! I've never had a negative experience with Sunset dealerships in the past 15 years, but this service event, I feel they went above and beyond for me. I relocated out of state, but still have all serv dealerships in the past 15 years, but this service event, I feel they went above and beyond for me. I relocated out of state, but still have all services perfomed by Sunset Ford. They fit me in for an oil change and repair to my vehicle last minute, I was late for the appointment, but they fit me in and STILL had a loaner vehicle available for me when I arrived over two hours late. The icing on the cake was the vehicle was completed in less than two hours. My experience with Sunset that day could have had a completely different outcome because I was late, but Kenny and Tim took it in stride and their team made it happen for me. I plan on using Sunset Ford for the next 15 years! More
The service is excellent, however I will be glad when you have your own pickup / return trip service again. It is so difficult to get a driver in the mid to late afternoon. I have had to impose on family or have your own pickup / return trip service again. It is so difficult to get a driver in the mid to late afternoon. I have had to impose on family or friends twice in order to get my truck picked up after a service appointment. Prior to the COVID-19, your dealership had an employee that would pickup or return within a reasonable radius. I look forward to having that back again. More
