Again, while we apologize for your disappointment, there is simply nothing we can do about the forgiveness of your transmission repair cost. While it's unfortunate that you had to pay for your repair, our Warranty Protection for Life program has paid out over four million dollars in claims for Sunset customers who have followed their manufacturers' maintenance schedule and kept records of that maintenance. Unfortunately, the warranty contract holder came to the decision that you had not done that sufficiently enough to follow the contract that you signed. Sunset Ford has no control over the warranty contract holder's decision, but we still offered you $700 discount directly out of our pocket, which you refused. If you've decided to not continue our business together, we respect your decision, but when our staff is called names and their help is rejected, there is only so much we can do. Thank you for your time.

It truly amazes me that the Sunset establishment is still in business. Your staff has terrible customer service and are very unfriendly. The fact that you offer a broken promise, your so called warranty for life, giving your customers a sense of security is terrible business. I have reported your business and this incident to the Better Business Bureau. As far as your measly $700 discount, that’s like a slap in the face. I’d be a fool to take that offer. $5300.00 to replace my transmission is a complete rip off. You obviously pay your inexperienced lousy mechanics way too much. Good luck in selling your cheap cars and continuing to give your customers false hope.

Wow! You guys don’t even have the decency to responded to a very unsatisfied customer. I discovered some new info over the weekend. I replaced the transmission myself and in doing so, I discovered that the battery hold down bolt was missing. Now, I have no clue what you guys actually did to my car except drag it around your lot by a rope. I do know that when I came to reclaim my vehicle the battery was completely dead. Hmmmmmm, interesting. Anyway, I know you guys will do absolutely nothing to make this right, so congratulations you screwed over another customer. Add that to your list.
