I had a pleasant buying experience for a 2018 F-150. I worked with a non-pressure salesman who readily answered on-line questions prior to my dealership visit. Salesman and sales manager were great! The Finance and Service departments are in need of significant improvement. No communication from either of those departments following the transaction had to call Service departments are in need of significant improvement. No communication from either of those departments following the transaction had to call them to get any follow-up. Brand new 80k truck had a power folding mirror that didn’t work. The issue was called out during the test drive. Service had the vehicle twice now for 48 hour durations each time. Truck was returned and the issue still has not been solved. I was told service would follow-up when the heard back from Ford. Going on a week now and haven’t heard back. To be honest, service acts like they don’t even want your business. Once the mirror issue is resolved I will very likely find another dealer for future service needs. Should also mention, this wasn’t just me. I was there long enough and on a couple of occasions and watched how one of the service managers communicated with other customers. Well, at least I know it wasn’t just me. Definitely and opportunity for improvement. More
Sunset Ford told me they'd wash my new vehicle abs fill it up with gas. They sprayed it off and put a quarter tank in it. When I brought up a concern they answered it with what I wanted to hear until after it up with gas. They sprayed it off and put a quarter tank in it.
